I was really thanking Canada for their stricter gun control laws which obviously prevent things from happening

I can tell you that if I legally went to class with my sidearm (it would probably be concealed), that everyone in the room would be safer than they would be if I didnt have it.

Even if just ten percent of the people in any large gathering (including schools) were well known to be peaceably armed, these shooting sprees committed by lunatics would dry up entirely.

The only effective way to reduce crime is to make it prohibitively dangerous to commit one. If law abiding peaceable citizens are armed everywhere you go, and you dont know which ones, how likely would you be to even consider snatching a purse?

You aernt going to find a criminal who is affected in any way by gun control laws. The only people who are affected by these stupid laws are honest, peaceable, law abiding armed citizens.

I personally think it is rediculous that you could get 10 years in federal prison because your rifle contains imported parts, because its barrel is 1/8 inch too short, or that a piece of wood or plastic is too short.
