To all the peeps who defy Vicks talents in this thread, you're all wrong. You all are in denial because there is no reason why this thread would be at 11pgs if you really felt that way deep down inside. Fact.

You know he's a hybrid Qb who is the best in the league right now. He is the new era. Unfortunately he isn't on the best (or one of the best) team right now like Brady and Manning have been. But he singlehandedly makes that team compete like it. If he had, what Manning had last year and failed to win with/ what brady had the previous years that MADE him look good, it would be terrible what Vick would do to the NFL. Fact.

Manning had a coach on the sideline in mourning and a team full of players that were concerned about the well-being of their coach. Michael Vick wouldn't be able to do shit with that offense because he doesn't have the passing accuracy to make it work. He wouldn't be able to do shit with that team because he has a much better defense currently with Atlanta.

Actually, RDU is right a vast majority of the time. I respect his general NFL knowledge and he's awesome at his NBA stuff. It's just his opinions of Vick and Bush that drag him down considerably, imo.

Not a good day for Vick but a gritty performance nonetheless.

The Falcons couldnt run the ball and his receivers were abysmal (how many drops did they have today, wow). He was off target on several passes but his rushing yards were phenomenonal again.

He led them down to the 6 yard line for what would have been the game winning TD before a holding penalty ended their scoring threat.

Pretty solid showing by the defense today for once.


v Yes, he did fumble. But on 2nd and 20 so it was kinda desperation time. Pretty amazing 55 yard bomb with the game on the line though wasnt it.

Actually one of his INT's set up a TD so you cant use that one against them. Not all INT's are created equal and that one wasnt a bad one.

The first INT was bad and hurt the team. Pretty nice sliding catch by the DB.


Before you guys get too carried away realize that Tom Brady lost at home to the Jets with a superior team and that Peyton Manning escaped at home against Buffalo (without their best player) by one point on a missed field goal.

That's why its a beautiful league. Simply having an elite QB, will not guarantee you wins. As long as no one is arguing that he's not an elite QB I'm fine with people stating he didnt have a very good game today.
