Illegal immigrants are American's current underclass. Teenagers, mostly white teenagers, take jobs for disposable income; they do not take jobs to support the infrastructure of American society. Sure, other teenagers work too but they also work for other reasons; i.e. because they have to. You say "well we seemed to make buildings before we had this illegal immigrant problem"; I respond to that notion with the fact that there was a different underclass at that time.

And it's also cold in Alaska. You can't take a segment of America and make it a macrocosm.
