Funny how these dallass fans talk shit by living vicariously through another team.

And all this time I thought tarheel dallass was another word for faggot.

^^ Yes, more than once. In fact that fat sack of shit hopes his cowgirls win by 21 this weekend.

Anyhow...I think Williams is the logical choice. I'd like to see the staff remain in tact personally.

jesus christ. replacing saunders with fassel? are you fucking kidding me?

all the offense needs is a another legitimate big threat WR, some o-line work, and for campbell to make better reads

but no let's blow it all up again and get some new moron

Snyder is an idiot. Saunders is most likely going to leave regardless of who gets hired. Williams deserves the job but probably won't get it because Snyder likes to shake things up (idiot). I don't see Fassel getting the job, but who knows. I just hope they hurry up and get someone before the super bowl because I don't want to see Spagnuolo leave the Giants...

Is it me or does it seem like the Skins are going about this whole hiring a head coach thing ass backwards? Who the hell hires an OC before the HC? Also, Snyder canned Williams today, so I guess he's off the list.

Personally, I think Russ Grimm should get it...

Conventional wisdom over at extremeskins seems to think that he won't be the guy, but then again, Snyder is going to do whatever he wants to because he's a bitch like that.

I really miss Jack Kent Cooke. If only his son could have bought the team...

Just listened to Coach Zorns press conference.. I think it was the right hire.. Not the exact path I would take to get to him.. But I'm excited about next year.

im pretty content with how we drafted

per ESPN

Quote :
"
RD PK(OVR) NAME POS SCHOOL
2 3(34) Devin Thomas WR MICHIGAN STATE
From Oakland through Atlanta
Washington couldn't be happier about Thomas slipping, considering no one would have blinked had the Redskins selected him in the first round. Thomas isn't as good at stretching the field as his speed would suggest, and he needs to improve his route running. But he has the quickness and athletic ability to continue to improve in those areas. He's also very good creating after a catch for a player his size.
Complete analysis
2 17(48) Fred Davis TE USC
From Houston through Atlanta
There were concerns about Davis' ability to stretch the field before the combine, and his slow 40 time backed up what we saw on film. He isn't an overwhelming in-line blocker, either, but he does a good job getting in position and he fights to sustain his blocks. In addition, he has the athletic ability, big hands and long arms to emerge as a reliable possession receiver.
Complete analysis
2 20(51) Malcolm Kelly WR OKLAHOMA
It looked at one time like Kelly would be the first receiver off the board. Concerns about his speed and durability caused his stock to drop. That said, Kelly could be one of thesteals of this draft if he's able to stay healthy. He has outstanding size, very strong hands and he can make plays in traffic. Although he needs to improve his route-running, he changes directions fairly well. He'll be able to separate from man coverage once his footwork improves.
Complete analysis
3 33(96) Chad Rinehart OG NORTHERN IOWA
He needs to work on his technique, especially his ability to get his hands inside the defender's frame, which would allow him to control his blocks. Obviously there are concerns about the level of competition he faced at Northern Iowa. However, he has excellent size, he's quick and has the upper-body strength to jar defenders with his power.
Complete analysis
4 25(124) Justin Tryon CB ARIZONA STATE
From Tennessee
Tryon plays bigger than his size would suggest, but he struggles tackling bigger ball carriers. He opens his hips well and is comfortable in press coverage, but bigger receivers can shield him from the ball.
6 2(168) Durant Brooks PT GEORGIA TECH
From St Louis
He was the best punter at the college level last year, winning the Ray Guy award. This was a major need for the Redskins and they took the best punter available.
6 14(180) Kareem Moore S NICHOLLS STATE
From Denver through St Louis
Moore is a playmaker both in coverage and as a return man. He also has good size and the potential to develop into an in-the-box safety, but he faces a steep learning curve.
6 20(186) Colt Brennan QB HAWAII
Brennan put up outstanding numbers at Hawaii. He's quick enough to buy time in the pocket and accurate enough to lead receivers when throwing underneath. However, there are substantial concerns about the Hawaii spread scheme inflating his numbers and he doesn't have great arm strength, either. His recent hip surgery raises concerns about Brennan's ability to stay healthy too.
7 35(242) Rob Jackson DE KANSAS STATE
He's an undersized prospect who struggles to hold his own against the run, but Jackson is tall enough to add some weight to his frame. In addition, though he doesn't have great top-end speed he's quick enough to make plays.
7 42(249) Christopher Horton S UCLA
Experienced, tough, in-the-box safety who fills hard. The biggest knock on him is that he's one dimensional because he has too many limitations in coverage.

Very good draft for the Redskins. Apparently we just missed on some DEs that we wanted, otherwise gotta love the offensive weapons for Campbell. The NFC East is going to be tough next year, as always...

i wish we would've had a higher pick to get a real, matchup-problem-causing pass rusher.

maybe chris wilson will continue to improve.

otherwise, gg on addressing real problems in the draft. even punter.

-----------------------

i know there's at least one season ticketholder on tww... did you get a letter saying they're moving your seats? I'm upset to say the least, especially since our seats rule, and ... I don't want to be moved from the people around us. we've all been in it together since the stadium opened.

also b/c Todd Yoder's wife sits in front of us and her friends are hot

wonder if jim zorn has figured out that the team colors aren't "maroon and black" yet

i think it was an okay draft, nothing great about it but we did get the WR we wanted

as for the seat moves, i don't know the story behind them, but my friend's seats got moved to the 50 so i'm not complaining about that one

also would like to add that frosty's days are numbered -- when you actually draft a punter, you mean business

I think I moved down one row in the same section with the same seat #s. 3rd year in a row I've moved down a row!

Is this trade going to really put the Skins over the hump? No way. 2nd round pick is too much to give for a guy with maybe 1 year left in the tank.

Whether it was a good deal or not has nothing to do with the impact he could have this season. Our hand was forced when we didn't do this earlier. If Daniels went down, at any time, we lacked pash-rushing depth. It should be the #1 concern next draft, regardless of whee the good receivers fall on our chart.

Bur the question isn't was the trade worth the picks.

the question is ... can a REAL Redskins pass-rusher for the first time that I can remember (don't give me that old fart Bruce Smith only-in-on-3rd-downs-shit) actually make a difference? or, does this guy still have it? Because if he does, I think he will.

It doesnt put them over the hump but it's a needed pickup after Daniels went down. He's 33.. he's still got a good 2 years so good trade in my opinion.

Im going to catch major hell from my Dolphins buddy.. I gave him so much shit for JT being on dancing with the stars.
