^^ yup ... only two that are totally against it, just because of the god damn Rose Bowl and the fact that why would they want a playoff? They can play their shit schedules and still get into the NC game year after year after year

boo fucking hoo, lsu had over a month layoff (sec champ game dec 1.) do you think at that point that one fucking week difference matters at all?

big ten and pac-10 need to up the ante and get to 12 teams have a champ game, the 6 champs from them are the 1-6 seeds, the next 4-6 are the voted in ones, then have a proper play off starting a week after that, shit you can call the games bowls, all the other guys that didnt get in would also play in bowls, ends up being 4 (max) more games for 2 teams....

^I'm not saying it would've mattered, jesus. How many times do I have to say that LSU was the better team and deserved to win? I just think it's fucking stupid to have a lay-off that long. Maybe I wasn't clear, but that's part of the reason they need a playoff. You have a month and a half where you could've played two more games in a playoff format. It's just a ridiculous amount of time between games.

i wish this was completely irrelevant like preseason polls SHOULD be but something as minor as preseason rankings will have a huge impact on the national title game next year
