Ok, ive tried every forum and easports tech support so Ill try here for help.

I was able to play my friend online wed night. Im not sure if afterwards I turned it off while the harddrive was saving or not. After that I am unable to play anyone online. I can get online go to lobbys but when i go to the pick your team screen the other guys helmet wont move and it will boot one of us when we are "ready".

I have deleted all my ncaa 09 files, rebooted my ps3, my router, my modem.. still wont let me play online now. Does anyone know if there is away to reset your easports ID? I think my profile is corrupt on their server. Only thing I can think of.

If you have an idea, im all ears. Thanks

Does the ps3 have the network testing thing like the 360? Might want to make sure the ports are forwarded correctly. You also can try plugging it straight into the modem to see if that works.

Can you post your situations and what you used?

Honestly, this is one of the best new features I've seen added to the NCAA series... It's a bit tedious but it's so awesome being able to have real stadium specific sounds for each game...

A good (and free) program for editing sound clips is called audacity. If you need to cut long intros or something off of songs its pretty simple. Here's the link:

I'm in the start of Year 2 of my State dynasty (I simmed a lot) and my recruiting is really picking up. I finished 7-5 and played in Boise in Yr 1 but my recruiting was f'ing terrible...

Check out this dynasty I just created. We have about 6 spots left.

Let me know if any of you would be interested in doing this. I would be commish. I'll post on the NCAA thread in entertainment if I can't fill up here.

Sim only Online Dynasty
Features:

1. No actual game playing. Just recruiting, setting depth charts, etc..
2. You CAN NOT change your teams philosophy/playbooks. If you take Air Force, you must run option so recruit fast qbs and good linemen.
3. You can pick any team in the country, but...........your team must be NON-BCS and RATING MUST 72 or below.

Any input on how to expand this idea would be welcome. Let me know if you want an invite. Not actually playing the game will not take up to much time from our main league that Slave F runs, and can give us something to do while we wait on slow pokes.

I'll reserve a spot for Jaybee1200 since he seems to like this kind of stuff.

Must be willing to keep up a pretty good pace with your recruiting so others don't have to wait around.

Ok my dynasty commish is having trouble scheduling eachother. Any suggestions? He says its like they dont recongnize that he has changed on to a bye before he tries to schedule another team to play that. He is basically saying that he cant alter the schedule. ANyone else heard of this problem? its for the ps3.

pttyndal. I got my online working fine now. I unplugged my ps3 and it worked after that. Thanks for the suggestions.

We're playing all in one conference so I'm not sure about that. I'd assume that if you wanted 2 teams to play in week 3, then changing one team to "Open" should allow the commish to put that team on another's schedule. But with all the bugs in the game, there's no telling. Hell, he might have to change it to Open, let it upload, exit out of the dynasty and then go back in which would be a total pain in the ass.

I know somebody can help me with this. I downloaded the rosters for the PS3 and when I am not logged into my dynasty I see the actual player names. When I load the dynasty though it goes back to just numbers. How do you get the roster to be part of your dynasty?

You go into online locker room on the game and type in a persons username. I do not remember the name right now but it was posted in another forum.

On the 360, I just went to file management and loaded the rosters. Then I created a new dynasty, and said no when it asked if I wanted to auto-name and it worked for me. should be pretty much the same.

i'm really getting into the Campus Legend mode...sure its fun with a QB or RB, but I've been enjoying playing as my shutdown corner freshman at Texas...I broke the school record last game by getting 5 sacks, and I have 4 pick 6's on the season (just beat Kansas in the Big 12 Championship game)...pretty cool to play every down as one player...also I started as a cover corner (current speed 97, acceleration 94) but I'm getting my tackling skill up...I love laying the lumber

I really wish it showed what play you were using in using random play in practice mode.

^ haven't played defense but I've been messing around with a rb and wr. Helps improve your user catching which makes the passing game even harder to stop.

regarding the issue with the rosters in dynasty mode. you have to actually start the dynasty fresh with the rosters loaded. The roster is actually saved in the dynasty save file.

I was crashing every time my offline dynasty started up. I deleted my roster and re downloaded from this ColossalChicken locker. Now it works fine. See link.

I was able to beat them by playing almost exclusively man coverage. I read somewhere that the AI for zone defense in the game isnt that great and I have found that to be at least partially true.

Ok, this game definitely has some issue...at first I thought it was just forum people being forum people.

-QB pressure...is missing. DEs often stand there and don't pressure...watch your replays.
-Kick and Punt Coverage is awful. You and the CPU get to the 30-35 every single kickoff. Punts can be returned for amazing yardage every time by both you and the CPU.
-Defense is slow. Defenders with the same speed as an offensive person is noticeably slower.
-Bad angles. Related to ^, but defenders take bad angles and often seem to be trying to wait to tackle someone until the last 5 yards. WTF?
-Overaccurate Passing game+middle of the field=money. The CPU can't cover the middle of the field on defense, and QBs are super accurate and know exactly where to go with the ball perfectly every time. When is the last time the CPU tried to pass into coverage with a mediocre QB?
