i'm down 24-21 with Boston College @ KENT STATE going into the 4th, its obvious i suck and the people putting up 100 points are better, but i just look at it as it is what it is

i dont even think they need your cheers, they're doing a good job of keeping it way too close without that

I guess to me its not a question of "can" they do it, but should they... for example, in the older NCAA games you could call FG block as a defense, and if the other team's original play was a run, they would automatically audible to a pass play every time.

So you could play really good option teams like Nebraska and FORCE them to pass every time. So I COULD beat Nebraska every time with Baylor by doing that... but I didnt let myself do it

Evans had his typical 0 TD 3 INT game. But can't put the blame solely on him. Had 6 drops as well, 3 of which would have been for first downs, and one for a TD. Also, a fumble by Darrel Davis after gaining a first down on a pass. Lost Eugene on his fourth run of the game after going 14, 1, 13 on the first three. Pretty much awesome around the board.

In other news, TOB has reverted back to being silent, and glaring at his players until they step up and deliver on the field. Unfortunately, for FCS whatever, they play NCSU next week. Should be a long week at the practice, and hopefully better execution on the field in the upcoming week.

^^again, i dont disagree with you, and i was kinda proud that my TE had 2 TDs and my returner took one to the house, cause things like that could potentially get post season awards and help recruiting, but the main thing that helps recruiting is winning so im just trying to do the best i can with this shitty shitty shitty team from chestnut hill

This was why

They are SO much worse than any 1-A team that its hard not not score 100

The gap between the worst 1-AA team and any 1-A team is HUGE

I tried not to pass the ball after halftime

I had 6 interceptions for TDs...they threw it right to me


Thankfully, everyone only has 1-AA game (FSU has 2), so this will be a one time deal

Final- USC-26 UVA-21

Sanchez throws 2 ints in the enzone but a late int by Lalich prevents any chance for an upset. Bad play calling on my part. Had USC 21-20 with about 2min to go and was backed up deep with 3rd and long and threw an int instead of running it and just risking a punt block.

Wake Forest beats Baylor 28-3. We had two interceptions returned for touchdowns and the kickoff to start the second half was returned all the way. The lone offensive score was a 20 yard pass from Skinner to Bolden. This was my first game with Wake, so I really wasn't used to their offense, which is a shotgun style with lots of misdirection and option plays. It took me a couple drives to get used to it, as I am more of a conservative style player. I hope nobody gets too upset with me doing option plays, but it's really not a big deal because Skinner isn't exactly a speed demon.

I refuse to believe someone can score over 100 with 5 minute quarters without trying... you have to just for the damn time it takes to run up and down the field... I scored pretty much every time I had the ball against ECU and stopped them every time except for 1 drive where they had a FG and I scored 33...

I would have been like "hmm, well, its obvious that the game has the lower division teams really really really bad, so if i keep doing this its really going to be retarded and completely throw off all stats for the rest of the year". From that one game alone, duke players will have better stats than any player from VT, BC, etc. and you know that would never happen

I saw guitarguy (who has no communication with the rest of the thread) winning 60 something to nothing in the second quarter, and I'm sure a few others are going to score well over 100 in their 1-AA games as well

You can't expect 11 other people to intentionally nueter their offense

I would have no problem running every play and scoring only 50-60 if I knew everyone was going to do the same thing

But you know as well as I do that its impossible to get 12 people to embrace that idea

So if a couple people are putting up triple digits, than theres no point in the rest of the league holding back and not running their offense, within reason

Like I said, of my 16 touchdown, 6 were defensive, 5 were pass, and 5 were rush...I wasn't trying to jumpstart any Heisman campaigns

Its only 1 game out of 12 (or 13 or 14)...the stats will correct themselves for the most part




Its different in human vs human games...you can police those much easier

But in games vs the CPU, theirs only so much you can control for the rest of the league

Before my game crashed, I was running off tackle every play. I was running into tacklers to prevent a TD every play. The 1AA teams are VERY BAD.

Hopefully that trend will continue later in the season when we meet for real.

I really enjoyed that game though. Dissappointed I lost, but it was a typical NC State/UNC game.

Kind of sad to see NC State rated the lowest in the ACC overall, but hopefully with the Redshirts I have I can get some development over the years, and maybe make a few bowls on the way.

Not looking forward to playing FSU, Clemson, and Miami this year though
