should be good. their drummer sucks live (consistently, not a one time show thing) and Kayo Dot and Stephen Brodsky (cave-in..duh) just make the show that much better...however I wont be in raleigh that weekend and I am reallllly bummed out. oh well.

Yea, somehow he has been a drummer touring and recording for this long and yet he still has trouble keeping time with stuff.

But theyve been the same group for awhile and hes the bassist's brother so hes not going to get kicked out or anything.

^^ I almost went but I didnt feel like driving to charlotte last night. Ive already made 2 trips to charlotte for something in the past week, im going to raleigh this weekend, then back to charlotte the next, then back to raleigh. wanted to save gas at least one night

Unearth is really fun live, always has been but i had already seen them a bunch and Protest, while a bit sloppy live, is fun and I had already played with the other bands a few times heh.

I do really like Protest's last album though. Huge step up from Kezia and, despite being very gimmicky at times, its one of the better metal albums ive heard this year.

Not really, considering that the type of 'metal' they're playing is cookie-cutter, mainstream easy-as-fuck-bullshit. I've heard way better death metal bands who were 15 with loads more talent in their cocks than this band....
