I don't really know what the problem you all have with the time out situation. They kicked that game winning field goal on 2nd down...they had at least two more opportunities to run the clock down. So saying we'd have 20 odd seconds left on the clock is an invalid argument.

Washington State doesn't have the personell to win right now but we obviously have the personel to be decent. We just don't have the coaching and its quite obvious when every single game is either close or a blowout loss.

is our secondary pretty bad? yeah.. is our tackling atrocious? yes. But we lost this game with about 4 1/2 mins left in FG position and RW holds on to the ball and takes the sack knocking us out of FG position giving them the ball back for a game winning drive. Thats when the game was lost.

RW played a great game.. just a case of him trying to do too much with his legs and not understanding the situation

Didn't really see that as a momentum changer...but whatever. There was still about 5 minutes left in the game and all we had to do was stop them once before they got into field goal range. I never really felt deflated after that play...just a little worried.

Although we have lost 4 straight, I think there is some reason for optimism. We still have a chance to win (a couple of?) our last four games as they are all against mediocre teams. Maryland is probably better than the rest of the teams we're going to play (MAYBE UNC or Miami could be considered a little better than them) and we came close as hell to beating them and were somewhat unlucky.
