Tactical Nuke = New to me

and if you can get random killstreak rewards from ammo drops, you'll see quite a few of these over time - even though it will be rare

Haha me too. The people always get pissed and kill me back "WTF Man?" and I'll be like fucking play the game how you are supposed to. Trombone is crazy, this game was made for camping and many people with good K/Ds are inflated because that is all they do.

I've been spending the last couple of days refreshing myself with COD4. I have become very reliant on a big clip (I use MP40 with the extended mag). Keeping that 2.65:1 KD ratio on COD:MW2 is going to be rough.

I care about 1) Being first place, and 2) high kill death

Nah, not really my issue. I literally go in guns blazing. I will run in a room with 5 enemies and want to take them all in a single clip. If you have a regular clip, and you are jumping into an area with a lot of enemies, its suicide unless you have a big clip.

I got into a real guns-a-blazing mode in last several times i've played. I need to get back to being more methodical and tactical. I'd rather go 9-1 than go 16-11.

TDM on COD4 and even WaW, no one seems to want to use tactics anymore. That's why i need my friends to get MW2 so we can start our ass kicking again

Yeah, thats why I dont play random team deathmatch. It ends up where some clan wants to recruit me, but they play some headquarters bull shit or hardcore mode that I cant stand (making the game more like a damned rainbow 6 title that I hate even worse). So I get stuck in free for all with only sporatic ventures into team death match.

BTW: Any of you going to be in line next Monday at Gamestop at Crab tree?

After reading the online Q&A with Infinity Ward I am completely done with this game. My favorite points on the PC version:

* there is no console command menu to tweak settings;
* confirmation that there will be no modding;
* confirmation that there will be no dedicated servers whatsoever;
* the ability to lean has been removed;
* there is no function to record matches;
* the largest matches will be limited to 9 v 9 players;
* IW.net will determine who should be the host player.

And my favorite part, when Mackey McCandlish was asked directly if MW2 PC was just a console port his response:

I'll be honest. I grew up a hardcore PC gamer. I always laughed at the consolers. Consoles really are the way to go now.

I do miss the larger match capabilities of the PC versions of software (remember Battlefield 1942 with 30+ players), but those matches were so laggy it was ridiculous.

But with that said, I miss the strategy games on the PC like Starcraft/etc. I dont think they are nearly as good on consoles.
