I have season tickets by the tunnel the team goes back into and a few of us gathered there to clap as the team went in. CJ Williams was cursing up a storm throwing his towel in frustration, Javi came in at the end and muttered, "Thats bullshit"

but that was a quality non conference game we had to have. now, even if we go 9-7 in the acc which would be very good accomplishment, we still have 11 losses which is one over the rule of thumb, 10. Now we pretty much have to beat duke unc and finish around8-8 and win 2 acct games to have a shot.

We didnt execute at the end of the game. Its that simple. The players should realize that theres no curse or some unknown force that led to this loss. We allowed Florida a chance to make a prayer shot to win the game when we should have had them by the jugular at around the 1 minute mark.

IMO, Degand shouldnt be in any game situation where he'll have to potentially shoot freethrows. He cant shoot! Much like Roy did with Jackie Manuel a few years ago, its time to make him a defensive specialist/ball handler.

We still dont have anyone who can create offense. I'd like to see Wood and Smith run a high low on one side or maybe a pick n roll a time or two. That is all for now....

You can rag Degand all you want for his free throw shooting, but Horner, Smith, Javi, AND Degand all had to miss free throws down the stretch for us to lose that game.

Fact is, if we go 5 of 9 in the last 40 seconds, which is still garbage, we win, or if they get that shot off and make it we don't lose right then.
