Actually, Nolan has confirmed in interviews that the kids at the end are different child actors (older kids) wearing different clothes (simliar-looking clothes but different).

I thought that was just a building with some unique architecture and she reserved the hotel room next to the one Leo was in as part of the setup for her planned suicide. Or maybe she had just climbed along the outer ledge to that other window.12/16/2010 2:24:05 PM |

Doesn't Cobb spin his totem and have it fall over in Mumbasa in the bathroom? 12/16/2010 3:24:11 PM |

This could mean anything from them actually being portrayed as aging, or they were just child doubles with similar but not the same clothes.
You are making conclusions out of an uncertain statement.12/16/2010 4:15:42 PM |

the credits of the movie list two actors for each character, both at different ages...I mean this is a great movie in that there is still debate as to what happened...but if the credits list "Philippa age 4 and a half" and "Phillipa age 6" or whatever it is, it seems he's saying that his kids are getting older]12/16/2010 4:22:34 PM |

Nolan's response: "The kids are not wearing the same clothes at the end! And they do age! We were working with two sets of kids." " |

Finally just saw this.
The "rules" seemed entirely too arbitrary. Dying in a dream puts you in limbo and dying in limbo wakes you up? Did they ever say in the movie that it's only if you die after you've forgotten that you're actually in limbo or was that something the fans extrapolated after the fact? Fuck that doesn't even make sense since Cobb never forgot his was in Limbo the 2nd time.
Pretty entertaining anyway. 1/1/2011 10:36:41 PM |

I think that Cobb was dreaming the whole time and that his wife was correct. 1/2/2011 1:25:54 AM |

^^Dying in a dream only put them in limbo because they were so heavily sedated. 1/2/2011 2:46:05 AM |
