Penn State kicks off, gets an interception on 3rd and 11, marches downfield for a rushing TD, then gets a pick-6 on the first throw of the next series.

Minnesota's pass-first offense is very suspect early on, and Penn State is making them pay. The Lions have scored 14 points off turnovers and there is still 4:16 left in the 1st quarter.

However after going 3-and-out on their next possession, the Nittany Lions defense forces a punt. Unfortunately, the returner fumbles, allowing the Gophers to get a quick passing TD in the redzone.

haha 50+ yard TD pass on (my) first (offensive) play of 4th quarter, 1st time backups are on field...it will be one of my game highlights

i tried (i'm trying) to save highlights this game to reflect good individual plays that arent necessarily TDs...like a nice tackle for loss

Iowa finds out just how much the running sliders need to get tweaked.

I'm not sure which is less fun, playing Slave in that sort of ridiculous game where every single run is a run outside the tackles or playing a game against one of the drop back 20 yards players.

At the very least the rushing sliders need to be tweaked at the end of the season.

i went into the game adjusting my playcalling. yet he still would have 4-5 broken tackles each bounce to the outside, including two in the backfield.

the whole thing just irritates me because I've had so many "fun" games in these dynasties, and this was really the first one that got on my nerves. not to mention his late game playcalling continued the rushes straight to the outside when it was obvious statpadding/bullshit

well, i feel for you, but at the same time, i just went to 5-2...my 2 losses were my two games against human opponents and not CPU opponents...i think i lost 1 game by 3 points, and the other by 1...but hey, thats how it goes sometimes i guess

i'm still kinda jacked up that i have Penn State, since last time i was in a dynasty, I had Boston College...and they were really, really bad

i knew it was going to come across as whining, yet you didn't address the fact that you were still running to the outside late in the fourth up by 32. in my opinion it was an abuse of the poor sliders/balance in the rushing game.

part of the point of the dynasty in my eyes is to try to recreate a bit of realism. I'm not talking Jaybee's over the top realism, but I'd like to see realistic stat lines, realistic play calling.

we've basically outlawed immediately rushing with the QB to the sideline because it is unbalanced and I would argue that the rushes to the outside in this game are similarly unbalanced with the sliders we use now.

^dur, I knew you would get all bent out of shape because I called you out. all i'm asking for is some tweaks to the rushing sliders to get the balance back in place. i think its pretty obviously broken

wtf, even when my guys hit you in the backfield or at the line, there was a quick broken tackle and off to the races. its pretty obvious that rushing is too easy with the sliders we have now.

i'm done with it. it's obvious you don't really care with the basic point I'm making, and its just one game this season.

I think there are some PAC-10 teams still open.
We have been advancing twice a week.
We have rules for going for it, putting in the 2nd team O if you are up 35 in the 4th. The rules are posted in the OP. *Note we do have some users who think that these rules don't apply to them (See Royster Clay and Pryor)
We are in week 8.
