I used to go to school right next to where the Islanders play, and used to buy tickets up in the last two rows...over there, you literally couldn't even see the other goal. God forbid you stood...half the rink wouldn't be visible.

Also, that's the first layer of ice going down. Most people don't realize that the paint goes on top of a layer of ice.

No more Budlight Deck at the RBC. Changed to Natty Greene's Pub Deck. Also, the team will wear a 63 patch all season for Vasicek.

Also got to preview one of the videos that will get shown prior to the intro at some of the games. Looked pretty good. Not sure if they'll use the song for the intro, too, but it was "Noise" by the Chris Hendricks Band. I guess they're local. Went for the first two periods of the Red/White scrimmage. Top lines on each side were Skinner, Stewart, Ruutu and Staal, Poni, Jokinen.
