i wanted to say BC was going to win, based on historical data and how we don't show up after a big win... but for some odd reason i went against history and picked us to win...

I don't have the same respect for d7 as bryan does, because I'm pretty sure he would have picked Clemson had there been something more to lose and only picked that big of a spread in hopes of gaining points on a Clemson blowout. Either way, he didn't get enough points to remain in the game.

The only 3 users to earn points on the spread all picked Clemson to win. I thought about not giving the points based on a comment a few pages back about a blowout going the opposite way, but since no ruling was ever officially made on it the points stay. It does suck that those who picked us to get blown out still get rewarded though. I'll set a better policy on this next year.

We're down to 16 users (due to a tie for 15th place). We will be down to 10 after the Maryland game and those 10 will last through the postseason: ACC Champ, NCSU bowl (if applicable), BCS Champ.

My suggestions: 1) Increase the range to 5 for both teams scores and the spread, it really sucks to be just a field goal off and get 0 points. 2) Only the spread for the correct winner gets points so it will address the problem above. 3) Its a predict the score competition not pick the winner so no extra point for picking the correct winner. Max weekly score is 15.

Yeah, I'd have to disagree with giving points for the spread when you pick the loser. I mean, if it's just a touchdown the wrong way, that seems legit. But if it's a blow-out the wrong way.... no points. Maybe should even subtract points!
