That's pretty much it

JJ was a really well-rounded player by his junior year. He could hang 25 on anyone despite being triple-teamed all game.

Wood is an incredible shooter, but hasn't shown that he can do anything else. Some of that is on the coaching staff, but it's said over and over that he has the green light from anywhere on the court. Also he sucks on defense when he's not surprising dudes with help-side blocks.

Furthermore when comparing them as shooters you can't forget that the 3pt line has been extended since Redick was a player. Meaning Wood is not only (so far this year) hitting a better percentage than Redick ever did but also the shot is more difficult now...

^ Don't forget Duke's entire offense was centered around getting Redick free. Moving screen after moving screen and even the best defender will leave you open. Redick did develop a much better inside game but most of that was centered around flailing and falling and the refs sending him to the FT line.

All I am saying is you replace Redick with Wood in that Duke lineup and they would probably have had shockingly similar careers. Wood is taller and a better shooter Redick is quicker and (by the time he was a Junior) a bit better at creating his own shot. JJ Redick was more of a creation of that offense then people like to admit.
