Holy shit she has an annoying voice and vocal tendencies. I've never seen this show nor do I know anything about her, but I know she does a weird vocal fry, ends everything as a question, and everything is her "passion" be it deep googling celebrity relationships or being a guest star on scandal.

She's pretty much acting like a normal girl would in that situation (although she's far from normal).

With the exception of each character's quirks and varying personalities, that is the premise of this show...trying to show what girls really act like (with the exception of Shoshanna...I think they push it way too much with how she acts and talks...but I still like her character, so I'm cool with it).

I haven't seen the most recent episode. But, in general, when ladies feel insecure about a relationship, they act crazy, which can actually jeopardize the relationship if it isn't already in danger of dissolving.

Women are raised to believe that relationships--and their ability to maintain them--is an integral part of their value. Being nice and getting other people to "like" you is important. None of this is explicit; it just is. And it's why lots of women maintain friendships for years with people they don't actually enjoy.

Also, because they are so "nice" all the time, they learn early on that what someone says or does is not a true indicator of that person's feelings. After all, they're super nice to people they actually hate. So many women cannot trust what a person says or does; in some situations, they may find they can't even trust their own perceptions: "Am I crazy?!?! If I'm being crazy, tell me."

So, yeah, they act funny when they think their boyfriend might be unhappy with them. If this behavior is something you would regard as unhealthy or look down on, then you don't get women, which is cool. Also, if you've dated lots of ladies, and none of them have behaved this way, it's not because you just have great luck with getting the sane ones.

I was thinking more like she runs away from a good paying job under the premise of 'being an authentic writer' (and berates people who have done nothing to hurt her in the meeting). At the concert, she applauds herself for being a good friend to Marnie and then purposefully walks in on her having sex with Ray.

And THEN she declares "you are never judging me again" to Marnie. As if Ray is somehow so beneath her. Ray got Hannah a job at the coffee shop and has generally been cool to her. I guess this is just typical Hannah-level delusion I dunno but it seemed unhealthy even for her.

Hannah thinks she's better than everybody, for some odd reason.

At the open mic when Shoshanna goes, "are you going to be okay?" and referenced Marnie being a pop star and Adam being on Broadway...I almost loled in real life because I truly don't think Hannah could handle it. She's okay if she's in the shitter as long as everyone else is in the shitter...and same goes for everyone else doing well as long as she's doing well. But if everyone else is blowing up and she doesn't have a job or something published...then I think she goes back to OCD Hannah. OCD Hannah was really painful to watch last season. I'd rather not see that re-hash and hope Lena Dunham wouldn't go full bore back into that.

^^it's not that Ray is beneath Marnie or Hannah, it's that Ray is Sosh's ex. That's why she told Marnie she couldn't judge her again. Serious violation. Marnie also had sex with Elijah, Hannah's ex, which broke down their friendship.

That last episode with the house car was great. Ray is still my favorite character.

^She jokes about it in her book. I recommend the audiobook for a trip she's a great story teller albeit a little chaotic at times.

Less naked Hannah please. I have to make sure I watch the show well after I've eaten or it will disturb my stomach.

Adam and Ray (and probably Shosh this season) are the best parts of the show. I feel like they over-do it with Marnie, but she's so hot that I'll give it a pass. Jessa has become much more bearable as well...I've welcome her transition.

I don't know if this show was ever that good, but it's entertaining and short enough for me to keep watching.

Might as well be. I get that her nudity and sexuality is an integral part of the show...but it doesn't mean I have to like it. Other than being morbidly obese or having a physical deformity, it's probably one of the more unattractive female body type out there.
