Couple problems with that... Sun.-Tue. waivers process, and my waiver priority is only 4, so I'm probably not landing him.

I feel you, but GB has also played a couple of really ridiculous run defenses in SEA, NYJ, and now DET. If he sucks in week 4 and beyond then we'll have legit gripes. For now be patient, hang onto him, and be glad you didn't draft Peterson or Charles.

welp. I'm down 14 and if Eric Decker so much as suits up, I'm already finished. Otherwise I need Forte to get 2 TDs and 30 yds or 1 TD and 90 yds to win, anything less pretty much ensures a loss or at best a tie

PPR League (currently sitting at 2-1). We start 2 RB/2 WR/ 1 flex.

My WR:
Dez Bryant
Demaryius Thomas
Randall Cobb
Andrew Hawkins

My RB:
Steven Jackson
Ahmad Bradshaw
Trent Richardson
Bernard Pierce
Justin Forsett
Matt Asiata

I was offered the following trade:

I give:
Randall Cobb
Matt Asiata

I get:
Montee Ball ( He has Lacy also)
Riley Cooper

thoughts?

I'd probably do it. Dez and Demaryious are obviously your 2 starters every week, and even though Cobb is probably your flex play, RB is not your strong spot so Ball would immediately become your RB1.

Yahoo's post-draft recap predicted me to go undefeated this year. Now I'm on the verge of starting 1-2. I would've won last week if I hadn't taken out Marshall by stressing the possibility he wouldn't play. Now I'm stuck with Marshall and Gould and opponent has Cutler, Forte and Bennett. Fuuuu

I feel your pain bro

Only way I could win is if Cutler throws a pick 6, and gets injured in the process. Then Clausen rushes to the 33 and gets hurt, forcing a 50 yard Gould FG. Then whatever other QB the Bears has gets hurt, forcing Gould to come in and toss a couple passes to Marshall, while Bennett and Forte get no touches at all. Unless Forte has about 9 fumbles that are lost.

In other words, I got this

Lost by 3.04 points. And will be by far the highest scoring 1-2 team in my league. I think I'm going to be the 2nd or 3rd highest scoring team overall and I'm 1-2. awesome.

0-3 and 1-2 in my two leagues.

Russell Wilson's on bye this week. I have Romo (vs NO) on my bench, but are on of these guys worth starting over him?

Ben Roethlisberger vs TB
Joe Flacco vs CAR
Ryan Fitzpatrick vs BUF

This league is is (-4) for turnovers...so turnover prone QBs are especially dangerous. I feel like Roethlisberger might be the safest play. But Romo vs NO should give Romo a chance to chunk it around and maybe put up some big number (or multiple INTs)

^I think I would go Big Ben, and its not like Romo has outplayed Big Ben over the whole year either.

Desperate question, but my RBs suck. PPR league, which Ravens RB would you drop for the hottest Ravens RB Lorenzo Taliaferro...

Bernard Pierce
Justin Forsett

thoughts?

^^ I would go Romo. He isn't passing as much as he used to so he probably won't put up a ton of points but NO's defense has been weak and he could have a few td's to Dez or Witten. Ben always worries me because of the amount of time he spends under pressure making turnovers a higher probability.

^^I'd probably drop Pierce, but that's tough.

Ok, 0.5 PPR. My RBs are pretty meh....Ryan Mathews, Frank Gore, R. Bush, Joqiue Bell, Terrance West.

I've been offered Arian Foster for Demaryius Thomas straight up. My other WRs are Vincent Jackson, Golden Tate, Dez Bryant. So I'm ok at WR, I guess (still not crazy about VJax though).

What do y'all think? In a way I think I could get more for Thomas, but he really hasn't done much through 3 weeks. Foster, while dealing with an injury at the moment, is getting a ton of carries for HOU and if he's healthy he could have a huge season.

Trade offer (standard scoring, start 2RB, 2WR and Flex);

Give: Kirk Cousins, LeGarrette Blount
Receive: Donald Brown, Alex Smith

My Team:
QB: Stafford, Cousins
RB: McCoy, A. Foster, G. Bernard, A. Ellington, Blount
WR: B. Marshall, C. Patterson, E. Decker, J. Gordon
TE: M. Bennett, N. Paul, T. Kelce
DEF: Houston
K: Bryant

My team is pretty depleted this week with with bye schedules and injuries. If Foster doesn't play, that would leave me starting Blount at RB, and then a TE in the flex spot. Donald Brown would be great to have for this week, but I don't know if it's worth giving up Cousins. Thoughts?

I would try to get more for Cousins. Alex Smith will never play for you (maybe on the Lions bye week). So you'd basically be trading a QB who currently has very high value and a running back that could vulture some TDs throughout the year for Donald Brown.

with Stafford and your RBs, I think Cousins and Blount are very expendable. but Cousins looks like the real deal, and will be the man in WAS for a number of weeks. I don't think the return is good enough. who does the other team have? Brown will be good for more than just this week, but once you get past this week, (given your other RBs), I don't see him being more than a flex

EDIT - another trade offer involving Brown
I give Brown
I get Welker

- my WR are OK for a 12 team league: Fitz, Roddy, Crabtree, Tate. they haven't made any difference so far this year (good bad or otherwise) but I could def improve
- my RB are L.Bell, Charles (+handcuff Knile), Khiry and TRich

I tried offering Khiry + WR for Welker + Hyde, but he didn't go for it. maybe countering with Brown in Khiry's place will fly

Your WRs look pretty decent for a 12 team league, and I don't think Welker is nearly as valuable as he was last year. He's now arguably the 4th option behind D. Thomas, Sanders, and J. Thomas. Of course he will out perform your WR3 Crabtree several weeks in that offense, but I think it's close to a toss-up, and Brown is probably going to get a lot more 3rd down/passing situation snaps with Woodhead on IR. So I'd probably wouldn't push it past your Khiry offer.

Who to start at QB, Foles @ SF or Cousins vs. NYG? They've both looked good so far and I planned on Foles being my weekly starter, but the Giants always seem to play in shoot-outs when they get the prime time games so I feel like there is a ton of upside to Cousins tonight.

I'd lean towards Foles but I don't think there is a bad decision.

I have a potential trade in the works. 1 PPR league.

I give up Mike Evans or Brian Quick and get CJ Spiller or Lamer Miller. I'd rather part ways with Evans but would be okay either way. Thoughts on which RB would be a better get?

Id go with Spiller, Moreno will be back probably week 6 so Miller's long term numbers may drop.

So I have 1 spot open on RB, cant decide b/w Sankey , Shonn Greene or Bobby Rainey

Shonn Greene is the current starter, but Sankey is making moves (out touched Greene last game). And Doug Martin is coming back, but Rainey has potential to put up good numbers if he can keep the ball.

^That is a tough call, but I would lean Sankey in a non-ppr and Rainey in a PPR. I don't think Greene has done much left, and the only thing holding Sankey back with the Titans is his coach's desire for "better footwork."

I have two trades (one has been offered to me, the other is a discussion with my co-worker) that I am looking into. This is a PPR league where we start 2 RB/2WR/1 flex.

My current roster contains:
RBS: Ahmad Bradshaw, Trent Richardson, Pierce/Taliafero/Forsett of the Ravens, Steven Jackson, and Matt Asiata.

WRs: Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Randall Cobb, Andrew Hawkins, Allen Robinson.

Trade #1 was offered to me by the last place team in another division (sitting 0-3).
I give:
Dez Bryant
Matt Asiata
Trent Richardson

I get:
Montee Ball
Cordarrelle Patterson
Bishop Sankey

Trade #2 was brought up by the 1st place team in my division(co-worker's team) at work because he wasn't happy with his performance of some of his bigger names.
I give:
Dez Bryant
Ahmad Bradshaw
Matt Asiata

I get:
Matt Forte
Keenan Allen
Shane Vereen

Would you do either of these trades? Thanks.

^Both trades definitely have their benefits & it's tough to decide IMO. The first trade gives you at least 2 RBs you can be comfortable with, but Patterson & Sankey are tough to gauge (with Patterson a mystery with a new QB & Sankey having yet to get a good look). The second one gives you a top tier RB, potential #1 WR, and a decent PPR RB. Honestly the second trade looks best, since I believe Allen will rebound after playing against some tough defenses & hard to pass up a good upgrade at RB.

Someone in my 16 team PPR league dropped Mike Evans. Saw he got a lot of looks from Glennon late in last week's game and like his potential considering Glennon should be starter for the next few weeks (at least). Think he is worth putting in a waiver claim? I'd probably have to drop either Justin Hunter (my choice) or Rueben Randle (rather keep him since he got a lot of targets last week).
