ummm. i liked garfield and friends. doug. rocco's modern life. barbie and the rockers (gem and the holograms was just a tad before my time. i'm sure i watched it but i don't remember). my little pony. but more than cartoons i LOVED the disney channel (kids incorporated and the mickey mouse club please!)

no. i'm too scared to try it. tell me how it is. it is western/lexington style from what i hear. and i don't care for that. though i haven't eaten it since i was like 19 because it scarred me for such a long time. so if you say it is good, then i will give it a try. so please report back with your findings pronto.

i had never heard anything about it, but that is exactly what my boyfriend said! so he got it from schoolkids (season one) and i've been watching it.

i really like it. i mean, i didn't really have expectations going in so i couldn't be let down by it or anything, but i like it a lot. i don't think it is like the best show ever of all time, but i really like it. i'm not done with the first season yet though so i can't vouch for the whole thing! but what i've seen, i like.

its not all about football. i mean obviously it is largely about football but it also has the like "woes of a small texas town" thing going on.

YES!!! OMG. he is so freaking irritating. he is getting more and more irritating as the season progresses too. i just finished watching the episode where he gets a tattoo and goes to austin for the quad rugby try outs and i could hardly stand him.

the sad thing is i have season one on dvd but not season 2 and i really want to keep watching after season one. what am i going to do???

also i think i am in love with riggins. hahaha. and i really like matt serison (how could you not) and his wacko friend. and i like smash and his mama. i thought that tyra girl was going to irritate me but now i'm starting to like her.

i'm just obsessed with the show right now.

^ i like the combination of football and drama! although there were like one or two episodes in season one i noticed with honestly like 0 football. i was kinda like wtf

I think the entire series is on Hulu. The first half of season 2 is pretty lame and the season is kind of weird in general because of the writer's strike -- lots of unfinished storylines. And the focus on actual football decreases dramatically in seasons two and three.

It's still awesome, there's just some really lame soap opera type storylines at the beginning of season two. Season four starts next January, I think. A lot of main cast has graduated so it might suck from here out, though there was a pretty great cliffhanger at the end of last season (spoiler alert!).

edit: There was no real conclusion to season two, it just stopped right in the middle of the football season, I think. They kind of told what happened and wrapped things up in the beginning of season three.

I feel lame for typing that up now.

ugh i hate it. i guess the story is cool. but i thought the movie was cliche as shit. just full of cliches and cheesiness. plus the eddie vedder soundtrack wasn't helping me any.

i mean i can relate to the story but i just really really did not like the way the movie was done. at all.

some of the shots were pretty, but that is about it.

^^yea i mean it is a good story and i think most people can relate to the feelings/desires i just did NOT like how the movie was done. i didn't think anyone was a particularly bad actor and it had some good parts, beautiful scenery, etc, but i just couldn't handle the dumb parts (the one that i like could NOT get over was when he was in LA or whatever walking along and looking through the glass seeing himself as a businessman or whatever - i know i put that in the other thread haha, but that totally just made me want to vomit. way too easy).

i think i was also super mad after i watched it because i heard how AMAZING it was. i had really high expectations, which is always a problem going into a movie!
