I don't get Beckerman being relegated to the bench. He's had a much more convincing world cup in the midfield (along with Jones) than Bradley, that's for sure.

who knows. Klinsmann being super optimistic and trying to prevent both Jones and Beckerman picking up 2nd yellows? I def think Beckerman has been very good for us. I doubt he got "relegated" unless there was some outside concern (some injury we didn't hear about, 2nd yellow concern, or just not what JK had in mind for today's "system"?)

Belgium has started slow in their games so far. Perhaps we are looking for early pressure and more attack/possession in their end right off the bat with Johnson overlapping Cameron for offense. Then drop back if it's not working or we score and maybe bring Beckerman on as a substitute for more D later. JK has his reasons and we'll all be judging them soon enough.

I think we had more wide open goals missed in front of the keeper than they did.

Howard at least had to make saves. All our strikers just missed the frame again and again.

We played well though and we have some stars to build with. Yedlin was great today. Omar and Cameron and Besler were solid until they end when they were just gassed.
