We aren't even good or efficient on offense this year. Herb's last five teams averaged more points than this. Gott is about to have a losing record with the ACC's best player. Year one was solid if not spectacular, year two was a big letdown, and now year three looks rough.

Serious question here. 90% of Pack fans could not wait to run Herb off. Is Gott any better in your opinion?

In the end this season played out like most of us expected going into the season. The fact that TJ played lights out and we showed some flashes of being pretty good I think gave us all hope that we may be a tourney team, but that didnt pan out. I think if we knew TJ was staying next year people wouldnt be as disappointed in this season as we are.

But he hasn't sucked. In fact, he won more games in two seasons than any coach we've had since the early 70s. And I'm not sure what some of yall expected this season after losing 90% of our offense. we were predicted to finish 10th for a reason. and if we'd won a few of those close games we'd have exceeded expectations this year

the guy who replaced gott at alabama won 69 games in a 3 year stretch and is most likely going to be fired

That stat is comparing two seasons of MG to two seasons of any coach we've had in the 2000s, 90s, 80s and 70s. And MG won more than any coach in that time.

If you want to compare it in conference, Dino Gaudio's winning percentage at Wake was 66.3%

Mark's is 64.3% here

My go to is usually conference record. Mark is probably going to be 28-24 after this season and next year will probably bring that number even closer to .500

Sloan was 103-77 even with a 2-12 first year. Jimmy V was only 2 games over .500 (with a 4-10 first year)...so, all we need from Mark is for the planets to align for a second time.

The new ACC with is gonna be sick!! Can't wait for State to be part of possibly the best CBB conference in history once Louisville comes in!

We'll be a consistent top 5 ACC, and top 25 nationally almost every year. And top 3 ACC, top 10 nationally once Roy, K and Boeheim retire.
