agreed but to put things in perspective: the Ivory Coast game was the first game and they were playing pretty cautious/didn't need to win and the Brazil game was a snoozefest all around because neither team needed to win there either to advance.

This game should be treated differently than those 2 games for sure.

yeah, i have to give spain the edge, because they've been playing more of an urgent game, needing to win their last two games. portugal was able to skate by the group stage and only played to win one game against the worst team in the tournament. plus i think portugal isn't really that good. the question for me is whether or not torres starts today.
