Snow covering the roads by my house.

I took the dog out at 10:30 last night and there was some snow on the ground in Carrboro but I never actually saw any snow falling.

^You missed it by about two hours. I opened the door at 8:00 pm and it was snowing like crazy outside. It only really lasted a good 45 minutes and then it was back to rain again, at least out here. We finally got out of the shitty apartment life and moved to a house just outside of town on 54 about a mile past the SECU at Carrboro Plaza.

I would say west of I-85 yes but to the east not so much on this one. Could be a major hit in the mountains for skiers and riders. Boone may be measuring in feet.

^^That link goes through Saturday...this starts Sunday, you need to look at the panel for the 4-5 day forecast on that same link.

Either way, everything is pointing to Charlotte and West getting hammered and Raleigh to getting a lot of rain with maybe some frozen precip mixed in.

Hmm, NWS forecast for Asheville went from like 3” of snow and some god awful mix of sleet and freezing rain to 9” of snow.

I’m trying to be in Charlotte on Friday night for work and back in Asheville by Saturday so as not to be stranded with the in-laws.. Weather may not start till noon Saturday?

Yeah we're going to see some snow falling mixed with other frozen precip, but none of it is going to stick and will likely be washed away.

Seems like it's going to be snow, then rain, then snow, then rain.. So going to be a shitty 2-3 days.
