Washington will be good. My biggest concern is with the transfers Turner and Lee. These guys are not good. Turner can put some points up but CANNOT dribble. Lee is god awful. He missed a layup in transition tonight by a mile. I really don't like hating on a guy so much but geez.

Once we get other guys in that can score the ball (Martins, Abu, Lacey) then both Turner and Lee's roles will diminish a lot. Turner at least shoots it well every now and then, Lee is a major liability on the offensive end (although he's a pretty decent defender).

well I think we're going 8-10 this year and next year the conference adds louisville and we lose our best and 3rd best players

so I don't think we're getting to 9-9

Our full court press has looked really good this year. We get the occasional turnover, disrupt their offense, and don't give up any easy baskets when they break the press. I feel like our presses NEVER worked under Lowe or Sendek.

As for the full court, we execute it pretty well and don't give up many easy shots during the press but our half court D is usually a complete mess once we get back. You'd think that would get better as we use it more, but we're running out of time in the season.

which now that I think about it is what we need...a win over a bubble but top 50 FSU team? Beat a top 5 UVA team? Then beat a top 10 Duke team...that would HAVE to put us on the bubble.

dont think we'd get fsu but it'd be maryland or someone like that instead of a 100+ rpi team

it doesnt matter much because the selection committee is incompetent and starts reducing the bubble before the conference tournaments so we'd need to do major damage (probably get to the Final) to grab their attention

this is all assuming that we don't shut the bed against bc
