most wins in 3 seasons since 72-75 (i think), which doesn't include easier NIT wins, since we'll be going to our 3rd straight ncaa.

good incoming class including an experienced lacey.
two mcd's point guards and 3 reliable big men who developed a lot over their freshman year returning....

for the record, fuck burro. Did last year's team live up to its potential? No, but we dont know this is his ceiling. But 3 tourneys in his first three seasons, especially this year with basically only one really talented player is really damn credible.

good post on how well Gott does with scheduling for success. I remember how we often bitched about this with Herb and Sidney. Scheduling horrible teams in the 200s and 300s does nothing for us. There are plenty of beatable teams in the 100s and up that will boost our RPI without affecting our win total. It's a big part of why we've made it to the NCAAs 3 years in a row.

We have came a long way from the team that got waxed by UVA, Duke, and one point loss at Wake. That 3-game stretch was head scratching. We can beat Xavier and St Louis.
