I loved SR2...never played GTA4, but I would say from everything i've read, SR2 basically just makes fun of itself a lot more

game called Darkest of Days came out today, and i hadn't ever heard of it until yesterday. graphics don't look that great, but you are going through time, shooting people in the civil war and ancient rome with automatic weapons, which is awesome and something i've always wanted to do. someone check it out and let me know if its any fun.

Just picked up NCAA Football 2010

It seems about the same as the other games to me. I'm getting tired of EA having the lock on these games and wish we could see some competition. It feels like the games were really pushing each other when 2K sports came out with their versions

I can't believe how much EA charges in game for features now. I was playing through a dynasty, and saw there were two options to "ease" recruiting for 150 points each! There was also an option to "buy all", so I'm sure there are about 10 things you could purchase from them if you want.

^^^yeah i noticed that in Madden 10...I actually bought one of them for 80 gamer points...something about Franchise MVP...you can apply it to one player per franchise per season...supposed to help your progression...I gave it to Deangelo...if he gets MVP, I guess it was worth it

I saw someone recommend the "I Made a Game with Zombies In It" indie game on here, I second this.. It is a fun old school shoot'em up and the song is funny as hell.. try the demo. Also, It is only 80pts ($1) for the full game

nhl 10 got a 9.25 in game informer and they're calling it the sports game of the year........which probably means there's about a million different things you have to worry about during gameplay and i won't enjoy it as much

After watching that Darkest of Days video... I would have expected the other characters to react in some fashion. In fact I would have expected the civil war era soldiers to take off running (both allies and enemies) once someone showed up with a machine gun.

I didn't make it all they way through. I read bits of a review. I didn't see any mention of Rome, but I did see WWII. I assume you have weapons from the future by that point? As my guess would be that the presence of a modern assault rifle really wouldn't turn the tide of a battle by that point in time.

my roommate picked it up since he buys marvel comics all the time. the gameplay is pretty similar to the first one, but this time they've actually added a story (secret war and civil war), so if you enjoyed those marvel events, you'd probably get a kick out of seeing the story in a moving medium.
