It really wouldn't surprise me if a big left. I'd start Washington over Anya next year, and with Abu coming in there's 4 bigs to play two spots. That's fine, they'd all get good minutes, but the next year it would be the exact same, and the year after that.. If one of them was a jr/sr then you can say "oh I'll start next year" but Anya couldn't say that unless Washington somehow went pro

To be fair to Gott, I don't think the twin backing out of his LOI has anything to do with Coach. I heard it's one of those situations where one of the twins pretended his was the other one so he could make-out with his 32-yr old girlfriend (who happens to be the niece of the AD of another nearby university)

^my source is telling me he is gone (as well as Washington). and while it's not confirmed, like i said, he nailed the Raymond transfer. He also knew that Shaka Smart wasn't going to be our next coach, even before we hired Gottfried. So he's got a pretty good track record.

@Face: Can Washington improve? Definitely. But to say he's not playable is not a fair statement. He had several good games this year and had a field day with Syracuse at the Carrier Dome. He also has a good jumper which he was pretty consistent with. He just needs to maturate as his BB iq is low and he also seems slightly uncoordinated, perhaps a strength and conditioning coach can help a little with the latter.
