ok, FINALLY got xbox live up and running

but i think i fucked up

my gamertag has 0 achievements, game played, etc.

my original profile (for offline gaming) was simply "Will"

my gamertag is different because Will is not available

so how do i go about getting my acheivements on this new tag? or am i royally fucked?

I don't think you can transfer achievements from account to account.

downloaded NHL 2K7 demo

pretty good, beat the ducks with the canes 2-0 (you only play one period)

the locker room intro with that music was nice, too

i think nhl 07 by ea is far better than nhl 2k7 even though one demo is a shootout and the other is just 1 period but i need gary thorne...

and as far as gears of war is concerned, it really jsut looks like a sci-fi GRAW to me (with a few improvements). GRAW was awesome, however, so no complaints and id much rather have a more arcadey game for multiplayer.

Watched a 20 minute demo of NHL '07 that pretty much already sold me. I can't think of a single category that 2k seems to have the edge. Its not just what EA did but what 2k didn't do... its the same damn game. This is a lot like the Madden/2k story from the year before.

that Lego Star Wars is pretty fun...you can pretty much beat the game fairly easily because you have infinite lives...but many of the achievements are for beating boards without losing a life...a few fairly challenging "puzzles" but good fun overall...I only rented it, but it does have some replayability

Yeah I played the PSP version for about a week straight. It was exactly the same only with less shiny graphics. That game is fun as hell.

the main hub where all the missions are launched from is the Mos Eisley Spaceport (the place from the original Star Wars with that band and where Luke and Obi Wan meet Han Solo and Chewbacca)...once you unlock more of the characters they're all fighting...you have this (relatively) small ass spaceport with Darth Vader and a few Lukes and all these other people running around fighting when you're not even in a mission
