It was pretty obvious he said Hawkman. They were talking about super heroes for fucks sake.

haha..knowing about the super friends and hawkman has less to do with comic book prowess and more to do with being old as dirt and remembering reruns from when i was a kid watching cartoooooooooon express

...also wikipedia was pretty helpfull to confirm what i remembered.

when she answered she said "Dunder Mifflin, customer support". So i think that was her direct number. if she had been at pam's desk she would hvae said "dunder mifflin, how may I help you/how may i direct your call"

Yeah I think it would make more sense to call Kelly's desk and I am sure Kelley could have easily forwarded her number to Pam's desk.

andy was talking about how everyone at the office worked together like superfriends or whatever. he talked about what dwight would be, and then michael said "talkman" because andy was talking so much. he was saying andy was "talkman"

randomly muttering the name of any superhero in a completely unconnected manor makes no sense at all. he called andy talkman.

have you ever seen this show before? because that was the joke. michael scott isn't supposed to make sense.

He said "Hawkman" and he was talking about Dwight, not Andy.
This is a stupid debate anyways, that episode was hilarious and that's all I care about.

Retard.

I watch the show with captioning, and he said "Hawkman".

A little impaired, sometimes its hard to distinguish the front vocals from the background without having it really loud.

When my wife is asleep, I turn on captioning.

My wife hated it the first few times she watched tv with me, but now she prefers to have captioning on in some shows, like Lost. You catch so many things that get said under peoples breath, or in the background that you wouldnt normally hear, also, there is no question as to what someone said.

typically those shows are written out before hand, right? its not someone just listening and typing like with a live event.

They do go by the script.

You can tell when someone improvs because the text usually leads them, and they say something different, or out of order.

yeah, that was good. It was great seeing Michael get so annoyed with another character, and I like the comment "i don't understand how someone can have so little self awareness" about andy, who is possibly the only person in the world who has less self awareness than Michael.
if you want to see more about why Andy is annoying the hell out of Michael, check out some of the deleted scenes from last week
http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/nod31204_alvmwoJ819vn82J9028qQs.shtml#video

as unlikeable Andy is, Ed Helms is really doing a good job with him.

They really slowed it down a lot in this episode, which was good for a change. I felt it had more of a Season 1 feel to it. Drawing out jokes and awkward scenes to the breaking point, instead of doing rapid fire jokes which they've been doing for a while now (also good, just different).
and it was nice to see more feelings out of Angela and Dwight, and a little bit happen in the Jim/Pam/Karen front. Although it felt a bit forced - all of a sudden Jim start blatantly flirting with Pam in front of Karen, right after he told her that he "used" to like Pam, then she confronts him about it immediately and he gives in..... could have drawn that out for a couple more weeks.

but one question.... where has creed been for the past several weeks!!! need more creed!

I guess Karen will be leaving too. Which sucks, because shes really hot. However, if I were Jim I too would go for Pam. Shes so much more fun.

^Yeah I would hate to see Karen go, especially this soon. I figured she and Helms would have stayed on at least through the end of this season.
