yeah I know...I'm just saying that this game was not his fault. Two fumbles, countless dropped passes, and that one stupid fucking 15 yarder on on a would be 4th down. Coaching had nothing to do with that.

Too many dropped passes, stupid personal foul penalities, and that turnover after the interception did them in. Oh almost forgot about the the fumble punt reception. All thosde factors did them in going against a good experienced team like the Pats. Lack of inexperience showed on the Chargers side as well. Maybe next year.

Exactly. Shotty doesn't even interfere with the play calling of the coordinators. He only makes the big decisions like going for it and challenging. He fucked up those few things that he does do.

So I flipped back to the game at the 2 minute warning with the Pats facing the 3rd and 5 that they missed.

SD had 1 timeout left at that point, right? I know you want to try and hang on to that, but wouldn't it have been better to save the 46 seconds that ran off the clock then?

not challenging would have given them a chance to tie. The two fumbles cost them 10 points. Dropped passes could have cost more than that.

This is an excellent point. They could have actually used this time out before the Pats kicked that FG in last 2 minutes. Would've stopped the clock around 1:52 instead of allowing the Patriots to run it down to 1:12 before the kick. Then the Chargers would have had an additional ~40 seconds to get Kaeding closer on the ensuing drive.

I think Eric Parker pretty much lost the game for them. He had 3+ drop passes negating first downs, halting momentum, and a fumbled punt leading to NE starting at the red zone.

Plus the other receivers dropped an extra 3-4 passes. Vincent Johnson (i think is his name) also....fucking pathetic receiving corp.

next 2 plays are passes

why not run the ball with the MVP of the NFL and use the clock if u get a TD great if not you run the clock out with the ball in NE territory and can kick a FG.

Brady was 27 out of 51 for 280 yards. He had 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
Rivers was 14 out of 32 for 230 yards. He had 0 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Quarterbacks: a wash. Brady and Rivers were both as terrible as each other.

I bring up NASCAR cause every commercial during a race has a racecar driver in it. So it's hard for me to get worked up over Manning once every commercial break. If you're tired of seeing Peyton Manning, there's a very simple solution, NOT WATCH ASSHOLE or fork up the $200,000 out of your sock drawer to pay for a 30-second spot!

Huh? Vick is 2-2 in the playoffs. Rivers is 0-1.

Vick has a conference championship appearance and Rivers does not.

Vick has never had nearly as good of a supporting cast as the 2006 Chargers were.
