saw it anyway. can't decide if i liked it or not. If it was just a stand alone movie then no, but since i am an indy fan and enjoyed the little inside jokes and references then yes i enjoyed it.

Eh was my assessment of the movie. The nuclear weapon and cold war plot in the first half of the movie was kinda interesting but I found the jungle fights nearly unwatchable. There was never any suspense in those scenes not to mention being incredibly silly. In IJ3 Ford takes a huge beating in the tank-fight scenes and you see the toll it takes on him. Here he is twenty years older and never seems the worse for all the fighting.

Watched it last night and asked to have this thread bttt'ed so I could talk shit. Unfortunately I was pretty drunk by the end and need to rewatch it now.

The part where Marion drove the car off of a cliff and into a tree was stupid as shit. The fridge was meh.

I watched today and thought it was an ok movie if you didn't compare it to the trilogy. I was disappointed that Indy wasn't more resourceful when he got in trouble, for example, I was hoping for him to do some badass move when he was fighting the guy in the circle of ants. I also thought the chemistry between Indy and Marion was lacking. Oh yeah, and I'm one of those who thought Temple of Doom was awesome.

This movie really kind of sucked in comparison to the original three. The CG was so bad that it made it difficult to watch. They should really have considered just making a freaking cartoon.

I love the original three and I knew that this wasn't going to be as good, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I think that the last straw for me was the chase scene through the rainforest when they were driving along the edge of a cliff. It looked so fake that my wife and I were actually laughing at how terrible it was.

Damn you George Lucas for not being fucking serious about this movie. Whatever work ethic you used to have has obviously died. FUCK YOU.

I didn't have a problem with the aliens.

I had a problem with the CGI, the Shia Laboeuf, the Karen Allen, the writing, the dialogue, the using a snake as a rope, the old man jokes, the wedding at the end, the etc.

Looking back after five years I like the movie even less.
