ahahaha wow that is awful, work on throwing outs and into the flat with your running back, those are the easiest throws to complete in my opinion...also, dont be afraid to throw the ball away, assuming you are out of the pocket



when im having a bad game passing i like to throw a lot of play action passes to the running back or full back to the sidelines

I've got the recruiting bit down pat, so anyone with questions on the new system, ask away.

Only thing I don't know:

When you hard sell a recruit, the time ticks off and you can cancel the pitch, right? Well sometimes it makes the recruit happy and then if you talk longer it'll make him angry and then hang up. But that's all before the pitch complete symbol. Question: Is it effective to hard sell and then cancel as soon as he gets the smiley face? Or do you have to wait for the pitch complete to have any effect?

Why the fuck can't EA ever fix the stupid fucking bugs in this game. Its the same god damn bullshit crap every year that always plague's this game.

1)the tackling is the worst god awful shit i have ever seen. Madden eats this shit alive
2)for some reason, even on low difficulties, the computer is able to break through the god damn O-line as if it were transparent.
3)the graphics have improved a little bit but not much. Compared to other 3G games, this is pathetic (nice sega genesis crowd effects)
4)i am going to mention the tackling again because it is absolutely horrid. No football game has been this bad in 6 years. If done properly you can break almost every tackle in this game which is pathetic.
5)the menus for selecting plays are just retarded - the only good thing about the new setup is recent plays category


the only thing that has improved to me is the animations for the player movements - flipping after being hit, stiff arm, break tackles, etc...

overall, i would rather play last year's version than this years

Personally I think this beats the ever living shit out of Madden 07 for XBox360... that game sucked.

The tackling seems fine to me. More gang tackles, better animations and more fluid.

Recruiting is growing on me a bit. It's still too time consuming but I like the way you schedule their visits and everything. So far, after Week 3, I got 2 3* commits to State and am moving up the list on some 4*. The only 5* I'm really in contention with is a nasty fast ATH....

The game itself is hard. I beat UCF 38-7 but then lost 15-7 in a rainsoaked slugfest at BC. I pulled Beck halfway through that game and put in Burke and he had a decent second half. The next game I played @ Illinois and Burke had a great 3/4 of a game. Then the last drive as I was nearing FG range for the win I through a pick-6 and lost...

qb field of vision, i think it pops up if you hit left trigger, i changed that shit though bc my receiver was left trigger sometimes so i changed the receiver

the more awareness you have the bigger the triangle to throw down the field...its big in madden i think, but you use it to try and look off safeties and whatnot
