^^I get Creed, he probably my favorite character, I just don't get the joke.

Could you please explain it to me?

I think the quote was "...then I'll have two chairs -- one to go."

He's weird and old; having a third chair is part of some weird, old guy scheme he has. There isn't that much to it.

bj novak is also a producer.

and this episode was better, still more michael scott than i really care to see.

and i'm not at all a fan of where they're going w/ jim and pam, b/c you know it's going to get dramatic, and that's just uncalled for. i want funny out of the office, not drama.

yeah. I think he's might the best writer on the show, based on the episodes he is credited for
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Office_(U.S.)_episodes
S1 - Diversity Day
S2 - Sexual Harassment, The Fire, Boys and Girls
S3 - Initiation (when ryan goes to dwight's farm), Safety Training
S4 - Local Ad (the only really good episode of the first half of this season), Chair Model

i agree. there's only so many things that can happen..... they stay together and are eternally happy (which is boring), they get married, which is too much drama, they break up, which is too much drama, they get engaged then break up, which is too much drama, pam gets pregnant, which is too much drama.
so yeah..... i don't see many good things coming from this

That line was great, 2 chairs you are thinking he wants to put his feet up or some shit, then he drops the second part and it took me a second to think about it then just died laughing.

I agree, what I said at the end of page 11. The relationship has made neither of them funny, especially Jim, who is slowly moving down my list of favorite characters because he hasn't done shit or said funny shit lately. It is like he is just happy and content, he was better a bit miserable and bitter.

i don't mind jim and pam being together. i wouldn't even mind them being married. but for the love of god don't have them break up and turn it into a soap opera.

needs more jim vs. dwight.

Seconded. Even when it was Jim and Pam together vs. Dwight (Bed and Breakfast, the website becoming self-aware, etc) I thought it was pretty funny. The only problem with the current situation is that they've drawn Jim largely out of the office dynamic.

I don't see why these particular characters being successful is so contrary to the show's humor.

really, as long as they keep it from turning into a drama rather than a comedy, and as long as they keep steve carell's facetime down, it'll be fine.

but as of late, it's been building up to drama and 90% carell. it's looking bad.

i didn't think it was made up at all. i mean, they'd have to go to a lot of trouble to find a name of a reasonably aged person to have died.

I just read through the recap online at it just said she died and nothing else so I was wrong. I just figured they were doing that to keep stalkers away and thought it was funny.

oh, ok. yeah, i think that there was not enough info given to suggest it was a fake death, nor would it have added anything to the storyline

I thought it was funnier that not only was he upset about a girl dying that he did not even know but on top of it she wasn't even dead and they went out to some random person's grave because the company thought they were stalkers and made up a story.

Either way it was still great.

^So the name the company gave them just happened to match the name on the headstone after Dwight did his research to find where she was buried. Or the company just kept a list of the recent dead lying around to foil would be stalkers that they somehow determined were posing as talent scouts.

The ad agency lying to Dwight is a huuuuge stretch man.

you have to remember that there is an office spinoff to air superbowl night, so it isn't out of the question to give two of the main cast members their own show, which would probably not be based out of an office, and would be a different comedy entirely.

I'm guessing that this spinoff is not going to borrow any characters from the Office.

It's probably going to be some other branch of Dunder Mifflin, sharing only that name and the style of humor. Maybe they'll have dialogue references to the normal Office characters (or references to the Scranton branch), but those will just be thrown in to wink at the fans.

They'll probably throw in one or two guest appearances, but there's no way they'll steal (or share) any of the important characters from the current show.

There was a UK episode towards the end where they went to a club like that and I think Gareth was making out with hot girls

Ryan on coke. or speed. or ecstasy or whatever. that's a good twist
