^don't worry man, you're like me.....lots of young talent.
They gave NC State alot of good freshman in this years game. I mean....your LB's and S's are gonna be STACKED VERY soon. Not to mention you have Glennon for 4 years. 7/19/2008 12:58:26 PM |

yeh, thats why I decided to redshirt him. I figured he would develop some over this year and would be awesome to have.
It is funny though, because I hate losing, but in a league like this, and in most dynasties, I think going out and winning every game by 40 something is far more boring than not knowing what might happen game to game.
I am just glad to get in a league where the people play reasonably as opposed to the stupid stuff you see online a lot. 7/19/2008 1:05:38 PM |

I guess like we said before
I was probably wrong for scoring so many points in my FCS game
but since everyone gets one I don't think it will be too much of a problem long term

haha...yeh it sucks to be away from the game when everyone else is playing. I am going to be away next Thursday night, so hopefully I won't be holding up too many people.
If we can keep up a similar pace to this, we might be able to make the first season fairly quickly, slowing down with the second and following seasons. Would be nice to keep interest beyond just a couple seasons, but who knows.
Yeh, we should probably remove all FCS teams in future seasons. Plus I trust that HaLo will be reasonable knowing that he has two of them. He is a pretty straight forward playing person, at least in my experience. Not too worried about it for this year.

fuck it. I'm going for 200 in week 2. After the heart breaking loss to USC, look for the the Cavs to be on the warpath.
Looks like Week 2 will feature the first conference action of the season and hopefully the ACC whipping up on inferior opponents.

Since the precedent has already been set at 147 points
Lets try not to go any higher than that
and please spread out your touchdowns...don't let any one player get 8 or something

I'm recruiting now. The quick calling/calling stuff is confusing the hell out of me. Can I just find the recruits I want and have the CPU call them?
Also, when is Maryland expected to play his game? I would like to play TreeTwista today, but just need a heads up.

^quick call allows the computer to unlock pitches and hard sell them for you. All you do is give the allotted amount of time. I usually do that unless i want to get really specific with a player 7/19/2008 2:08:10 PM |

JUST FUCKING GREAT!
By MATT WINKELJOHN The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Published on: 06/13/08 Jamaal Evans, listed as a starting running back for Georgia Tech after spring practice, has left the team, coach Paul Johnson confirmed. Johnson did not say why the 5-foot-8, 193-pound Evans, who would have been a junior this season, left. "Jamaal Evans is not in school," Johnson said. "This doesn't have anything to do with football." Evans was the Yellow Jackets' fifth-leading rusher last season, with 217 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries. The Irving, Texas, native also rushed 41 times for 215 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman. Although leading rusher Tashard Choice is now with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, Tech returns its No. 2 and No. 3 rushers in running back Jonathan Dwyer (82 rushes, 436 yards) and quarterback Josh Nesbitt (53 rushes, 339 yards). Rashaun Grant, who was Tech's No. 4 rusher, was a senior and is gone. The departure of Evans, who last season also returned a team-high 25 kickoffs for 519 yards, leaves former wide receivers Greg Smith, a junior, Andrew Smith, a senior, and Jonathan Malone, a junior, on the depth chart at one "A-back" position. That's a slot back spot in Johnson's offense. Dwyer is listed as the starter at "B back," which typically lines up behind the quarterback. At the other A-back spot, redshirt freshman Roddy Jones, former tight end Austin Barrick and redshirt freshman Paul Reese are listed on the depth chart. Tech's incoming freshman class includes at least two running backs who fit the size and speed parameters usually associated with Johnson's A backs. Embry Peeples (5-10, 170) of Orlando and Marcus Wright (5-7, 170) of San Antonio were both considered among the faster high school backs in their respective states. Johnson also said that incoming freshman Jon Lockhart of Blountstown, Fla., who was recruited as a defensive back, also may start summer practice at A-back. 7/19/2008 2:50:28 PM |

also I played a Campus Legend game with my QB at NCSU versus some 1-AA team...first play I run a running play (where after I hand it off, I cant control anything)...Eugene took it 60 something yards for 6 points...1-aa teams truly do suck 7/19/2008 3:13:25 PM |

70-10, second string was in midway through the 2nd quarter at 35-7...i had somethin like 5 picks. i actually cant remember how many i threw for. no more than 2 td's i'm sure. there was 1 kickoff return for a td and the rest were rushing tds or int returns. my backup rb had somethin like 170 rushing yards.

Final Score: FSU (me) 27 - wolfpack2105UNC 10
Highlights: http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/41497 1st and 10 late in the first quarter. FSU is up 7 to 0. UNC is driving down the field to about the 30 looking to score a matching touchdown. UNC quarterback rolls out and then throws a pass to the flat which P. Robinson steps in front of and runs back for a touchdown.
http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/41539 Late in the third quarter. UNC is driving again. 1st and goal from the 8. UNC tries a pass over the middle to bring the score to 14-10 and again P. Robinson steps in front of Yates' pass and then runs the ball back from 5 yards deep in the endzone for a FSU touchdown
http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/video/41558 The very next play from scrimmage for UNC. A. Elzy breaks off a 71 yard scamper to the endzone bringing the score to 21-10. FSU missed a few tackles and Elzy outran the safeties to the goal line.
Key Game Stats: Total Offense: UNC - 275 FSU - 138
Passing Yards: UNC - 190 FSU - 92 7/19/2008 5:45:12 PM |
