she's calling 911 because she has a bad feeling about her friend not contacting her a few hours after she talked to the husband.. why would she make that up/lie/"forget" what the husband told her?

my turn my turn. maybe the husband, the 911 caller, and carrie were all having an intense love triangle and all conspired to kill her.

okay, who is next. more guesses. maybe one of these times someone will nail it on the head.

Those are two mutually exclusive statements, you stupid shit.

You can't believe in "Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law" if you've already fucking convicted him in your mind.

i believe he is guilty. however, he is innocent until he is proven guilty in a court of law. so i'll be happy when he is convicted in court, OR i'll say "oops, my bad" and admit i had it wrong. just because i think he's guilty of this crime doesn't mean i don't believe in 'innocent until proven guilty'. that whole concept doesn't apply to individual opinions - more the collective opinion of the courts and the law enforcement agencies.

No, you fucking idiot, you can't exclude the second part of the actual statement because it doesn't fit your moronic fucking logic.

It is Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. It's called Presumption of Innocence, and it is mandated by federal law in the 6th Amendment of the Constitution.

As a result, your OPINION that he is guilty, prior to any arrest and conviction string of events enacted by order of the courts I might add, is not congruent with the previously mentioned RIGHT OF THE ACCUSED.

And that's if he had been accused, which he hasn't.

People like you are the reason we have a fucking judicial system.

You'd be content to string people up on little to no evidence and call it fucking justice.

Don't do the rest of us a disservice by thinking your fucking moronic logic is shared by those of us who aren't mental invalids, or by trying to justify your ignorant position.

YOUR OPINION DOES NOT CORRELATE WITH THE STATEMENT

AS A RESULT YOU CAN NOT SAY THAT IT DOES

I DONT CARE IF YOU THINK HES GUILTY

I DONT CARE IF YOU BELIEVE THAT ALL ACCUSED PERSONS STAND INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW

I CARE ONLY THAT YOU ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO SAY YOU BELIEVE IN ONE WHILE SAYING THAT YOU ALSO BELIEVE IN THE OTHER

THEY ARE TWO MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE STATEMENTS

AND YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY TOO FUCKING STUPID TO UNDERSTAND THAT

Jesus, I see why you married eleusis

TRUTH

agreed. I'm sure they've had to ask where mommy is or when mommy is coming back. They're probably waiting for the moment where they can say "mommy isn't coming back because daddy killed her"

I don't need to. they haven't arrested him yet, so that demonstrates theres such little evidence to suggest he did it that while they suspect him he is not truly a suspect.

i just don't get why no one else (besides on here) seems to see something sketchy - i mean...5 hours or less of her being "missing" and the woman was already calling 911 insinuating the husband did something to her??

and as far as telling the girls, how do you tell a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old that their mommy is dead?? they know that it's sad, but most 2 and 5 yos don't have a clear concept of death. when i was a nanny it was the saddest thing hearing the girls (different girls) talking about seeing their grandfather even though he had passed. they have people helping them and i'm sure are doing what they think is best.

the 911 recording sounded like the call could have been placed in the afternoon, but that she had called brad around 8-9 to check up on nancy. not that she made the 911 call at 8-9.

That's a huge fuck up in times. I could maybe understand saying 2 and then realizing you meant 12, maybe. But a six hour difference?

^ But why would she be calling to check up on her around 8-9 am if she wasn't even expected to meet her until the afternoon? I would start thinking my friend was a stalker if they were doing shit like that

If she had made it at 8 or 9, then Nancy would have only have been "missing" for an hour or two, according to when she went on her run.

It's more fun to distort reality and make our own assumptions than rely on fact.

i pretty much said this earlier in this thread... i would have at least waited until dark, due to the circumstances (marriage probs) but otherwise (no marriage probs) i probably would have called sooner if i was the husband. i think he did the right thing by not calling. i mean who really thinks their wife is dead or actually missing to call the police less than 5 hours after she left?

obviously the lady has a "hunch" or "gut feeling" that something bad has happened...as humans we automatically think the "worst".

However, she probably had a hard time coming out and saying "i think the husband is physically violent"
Reason 1: she doesn't know for sure what happened, but could see it happening, she is scared to insinuate
Reason 2: if it had turned out to be a false alarm, it could have gotten back to the husband or nancy that she was making assumptions about them

Agreed. I would find it more suspicious if he was the one who called, mostly because i feel that is [the mistake] i would do if i were trying to be smart and appear innocent. "oh my wife has been gone for an hour longer than she said she was supposed to and i'm so worried because our relationship is so perfect, oh geez me where could she be." on the other hand i think not to worry until a few hours have passed is normal and not to call the cops until an unreasonable amount of time has passed is pretty much par for the course.

Also, what gets me about that woman's 911 call is that she said something along the lines of "her car is there and her cell phone is in the car and thats... that wouldn't happen." how did she know where her cell phone was? did she suspect something so harsh so quickly that she wandered over and peered in her car? if so she definitely sounds like a psychoticly suspicious neighbor. like gladys from bewitched.
