oh really? so if McCain dies in his first week in office, you are confident she could lead the country?
because I am quite confident if Obama is assasinated in his first week in office, Biden is good to go.

you're talking about a levee system compared to a person? fucking retarded. More so, a levee system, built by men, with certain limitations, that has failed in the past.
Did McCain already die and we rebuilt him, thus we have good reason to believe he will fall over dead in the next four years and send this country into an unrecoverable spiral because his VP didn't "enough" experience?
If I remember correctly, it wasn't too uncommon for Presidents/VP's to have little/no experience 9/1/2008 11:58:03 AM |

no, I was referring to Katrina, not the current hurricane. They knew for years in N.O. that the levees were not strong enough, but did nothing about it because they assumed the worst would never happen. well it did.
and I am not comparing levees to people, I am comparing hypothetical situations to prove that the worst CAN and DOES happen. you have to be prepared for the worst. i think the choice of VP is very important, especially in this election. if you don't, the you just aren't paying enough attention.

still stupid. the levees have no secondary/complimentary support system.
Presidents/VP's have a few thousand people in their support system, not to mention, we still have congress. Just because someone wears the title, doesn't mean all hell breaks loose
well no shit the worst does and can happen, who is arguing that?

you know, the funny thing about Katrina was a month before the Hurricane hit, there was a TV special about the very exact thing on the History Channel and how there was a huge study done about it. I laughed when it did hit cause it was well predicted and everything that could happen, did happen. Then when Bush said no one predicted it, I laughed even harder. 9/1/2008 12:02:56 PM |

true that. I wouldn't care a rat's ass if our next president had a secret 2nd family and had some sort of sex fetish. As long as they can do the job at hand and promise to put their job above all else, then I'm fine with who ever was in power.

true, but in the end does it matter? no. because most, if not all of those conservatives, will still be voting for that ticket. very few, if any, would actually change tickets.
value's voters will take this hit (teen pregnancy) over the liberal view of anti-values.

It's hard to believe, but statistics routinely show that kids who get the abstinence only have higher teen pregnancy rates.
I guess it's a shame thing or something.
^ Yeah but some might just NOT vote at all, which especially in swing states, is a desired effect.
