You'll have to forgive ASU, they have sucked at basketball their entire history.

I guess they are just excited about beating their rivals, who over the entire history of the program have dominated them even more than UNC has ever dominated us. I guess it's not necessarily about the rankings either, they are just happy about being good.

Remember Rivers' junior year when we beat clemson on thursday night, and like everyone on campus stormed out into the streets and celebrated? We were ranked higher than clemson IIRC, and it was an away game, but everyone was excited at being 9-0 for the first time in school history.

Then we lost our next 3 games and finished 4th in the conference.

but fucking hell, the whole rushing the court rules you people have is the most annoying thing ever

if looking stupid after rushing the court at an inappropriate time is the worst thing you can say about a team, then I'd say they're in pretty good shape. I'd rather rush the court when I wasn't "supposed to" than walk out of the arena pissed off after another fucking loss to our biggest rival

Also lol at calling Arizona an inferior opponent. They had won 7 straight games (6 in Pac 10 play + Houston) and last night was for 2nd place. If Arizona is inferior then what is Virginia?

I also wanted to make the point that I enjoy not having to watch the 3pt shot every possession offense... Although separate from the argument (and im sure it will be seen as "trolling") I actually enjoy watching an offense that works inside out, consistently shoots over 50 percent, and takes a reasonable amount of 3s

And last I checked when you are ranked top 15 playing an unranked team at home, then you are playing an inferior opponent that you should beat. Virginia is a joke, and I said nothing about them.
