nah, bikini girl was a good actress. it was planned 100%, it all was. they would not have those kind of HUGE surprises on a LIVE season finale. ryan even said they bet Kara she wouldn't flash a bikini and she did, so they were gonna donate to her favorite charity.

Thoughts:

You can't get mad at Kris for winning. He himself said Adam should have won. Still, he's a hard guy not to like, and he'll definitely have a good career doing pop/rock, possibly even country.

Danny's votes definitely went to Kris. Danny is a music director at his church while Kris does missionary work and is a worship leader. Never underestimate the power of the Christian vote.

Queen+Adam was awesome. Keith Urban+Kris was really good too. Jason Mraz was good, expectedly. Kiss wasn't bad, surprisingly. Cindi Lauper was pretty awful, and all but ruined her own song (which is a good song). Rod needs to hang it up. Nice guy, but holy shit.

Adam should have won, but really, he did. He would have been seriously limited if he was strapped to the lame Idol recording contract. Let him go do his crazy gay stuff and sell shit-tons of records.

I thought American Idol retained the rights to all the contestants? So wouldn't they still have rights to sign Adam even with him losing? And doesn't he still have to go on tour with the rest of the Idol people?

I think the top 3 will all get deals of some sort, in different genres obviously. I just don't know what genre I'd put Adam in, but I really think his future is on a stage...doing plays/musicals.

I am a huge Adam fan but am ok with Kris winning. He is a genuine artist who obviously appeals to a wide audience. I wish him luck. I am soooo going to miss Adam's weekly performances though. And that shit with Queen was amazing. I think he is very comparable to Freddie Mercury.

Victoria Beckham's American dream has come true - she will appear as a judge on American Idol.

Posh has wanted to make it big in American since arriving with David two years ago

The former Spice Girl has agreed to make a "one-off appearance" on the hit US talent show, according to her publicist.

Posh will join fellow judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi on the panel.

The announcement comes just a day after Paula Abdul announced on Twitter that she was leaving American's most popular show after eight seasons.

The role is a massive coup for Posh, who has been keen to make it big in American since arriving with husband David two years ago.

But it is understood she can not commit to anything other than a guest role as she wants to focus on her fashion range.

The singer has made in roads into the world of fashion since her collection of dresses debuted at 2008's New York Fashion week and received rave reviews.

Posh, along with husband David have also made some high-profile Hollywood friends, including Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and Will Smith.

But appearing on American Idol will represent another level of stardom by taking her into the homes of ordinary Americans and giving her the chance to establish her own identity.

The show is watched by around 26.3 million viewers per episode.

It is even thought her appearance on the programme will boost TV figures in the UK.
