I want to make a quick plug for Marquette. I almost took them to the Elite 8 but went with Memphis instead. As it is I have them beating Missouri.

I think too much was made of them losing James. Granted, with him, they had possibly the best backcourt in the country. But they still have two NBA talents in McNeal and Matthews. Let's not forget D-Wade took them to a Final Four basically on his own. I still think they have Final Four potential, especially out of that region.

Remember that it took a last second shot for them to beat NC State early in the year with James, then the lost the last four down the stretch without him (albeit against all very solid teams).

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they made the sweet sixteen, but I can't see them making a legitimate run against memphis or uconn without james
