Worth it to me, although i wish the 50 mount was faster. I'd imagine i'm going to be spending most of my time in PVP and raids so i don't really see the need for toughness since you can't mount in those areas anyways. Although i haven't been to Illum yet or any other 50 zones (if there are any others) so i'm not sure how extensive the questing is or if there are bonus series for other planets again at 50

Ilum is nice for the pvp daily to knock out quick and get a centurion bag.

i've just been going on and doing the dailies for pvp and ilum.

reinforcing the warfront 5 times is super easy (especially if other people are out there and only interested in doing the daily)

winning 3 matches in pvp is considerably harder with so many people level 50 pvping.
also i've noticed the longer i pvp the more recognized i am which makes it considerably harder to survive more than a minute or two

I bought the VIP band for 1mil and bought the 1.5mil VIP landspeeder. THING IS FUCKING HUGE. Im the only one on the server that has it so far. Someone bought the ugly ass Voss landspeeder and someone has the EV landspeeder also.

Been lvl 50 for a while. Raided and spent god knows how much on repairs. Each time I repair, it's around 70k...

Bought the 1.5 mil speeder and have 2.5 mil leftover. I made bank by being one of the first to 50 and the first 400 cybertech/UW Trading. Made the Kuat blasters and sold them early on for 60k each, now sell em easy for 30k. It costs about 6k to make em if I buy the mats off AH.

just selling ship parts. was selling grade 4's but alot of ppl are making them now, im only one still selling epic parts, but my server wont handle higher than like 25k for them.

edit: i was posting about 3 full sets of epic parts PER DAY, until people stopped putting up the epic 300, 340 UT missions for gtn price. Now retards are putting them up for 30-70k each, which no one buys.

I try to upgrade my lightsaber at a workbench. The workbench panel comes up blank with a title that has words running together and I can't do anything. Help?

you dont need a workbench to upgrade items. just control+right click the item in your inventory/character sheet and you can do the modification wherever you are.

also, if you ever have wierd UI things hold down control and press U twice to reload the UI

Control+right clicking the lightsaber is just equipping/unequipping it for me. Control+U twice seems to refresh something but doesn't change that.

Maybe... no? Primal Disciple Lightsaber? It seems stupid that the best lightsaber they gave me wouldn't be upgradeable. And if not they should at least tell me when I do the action to upgrade.

herp derp. For the record... there is no such thing as good gear in this game- aside from ear/implant type pieces... Everything else is only good if it has good mods. You can take the first orange thing you get in the game and keep using it until level 50 raiding if you want to pay the miniscule amount to pull mods out.

Just out of curiosity. How does this affect weapon damage? If i have an orange blaster that currently does 185-210 damage, would putting better mods in it boost the damage? (considering there aren't any mods that directly boost weapon damage, just raw stats).

omg I love my new healer companion. Now I can stay and fight and it takes 10 times longer to die. I was going to quit this thing if I spent another day having to beat strong opponents by running in a wide circle while my ranged companion shot them.

It's actually very normal for an MMO to lose a good chunk of subs after the free 30 days is up. The game is still doing well. It's just not going to be something that every person who plays it will like it enough to remain subbed.

^^^I'm still making an extra 1000 credits per hour between sending crew members off and finding lockboxes on the side of the road. I heard that they nerfed it after 10 days. I wish I had gotten in on that. But noooo... I read that Sith Warriors should get Artifice and Archaeology to craft awesome lightsabers. In reality, I can craft a "Might Hilt 4" at the same time that I'm getting "Might Hilt 11" as a mission reward. That's just stupid.

^^It's my first MMO. I would cancel if it wasn't Star Wars. I wish it was an epic 1-player game. Instead I get "We need you to go kill the things and retrieve the hologram! Slicing used to give profits of 1000 creds a minute. I had over 2 mil before I hit 40 from it. I picked it up day 1 because I knew it was overpowered in beta.

I'm in an end-game raiding guild and repairs from one night go over 100k credits. The game is such a money sink, but luckily I made bank on the warship upgrades before everyone started making them.

Drop your professions (useless now IMO) and get Bio/Bio/____... making endless pots and awesome stims are much better than making useless armor/mods/etc.

Yeah, the ONLY reason I still play is my WoW guild came over. it's much more fun with a large group of people.

However, all I do in the game is raid. We raid 1 night a week, clear 10/10 Nightmare 16-man and then I don't log in until the next week.

Paying 15/month for 1 night a week raiding isn't going to last long. I'm likely to cancel soon unless they release new raid content.

Anyone still play this? I got some free play time till end of the week so I think im going to check out 1.2. Havent played in about 2 months, but seeing some of the updates peaked my interest, like the fully customizable UI that should have been implemented at launch.

I'll prolly log in, screw around for an hour or so and log off forever lol.

I still play. It's great! I'm not really sure how people conclude it's "another failed mmo". What the fuck are people expecting from a game that is just a few months old? It's waaaaaay more polished than WoW was even a year after launch. I guess the kids these days just expect everything to be handed to them...

My biggest issue with the game personally is feeling like I need to have a 2-4 hour block in order to enjoy playing/questing. I haven't had enough time to play and actually get to the end-game. I'm working on convincing myself to not finish every world I visit and just finish the class questline and get to 50.

I think i'm mostly just tired of the MMO genre altogether. Having played EQ from 2001-2004 and WoW from 2004-2012 with some WAR and swtor mixed in, i think the MMO model has taken it's toll on me altogether.
