Well no matter what we are playing this weekend right? We haven't played Finland yet and we played the swiss twice. Canada would want to see us in the finals and I think even though I am scared to play them again I would love to see them for the Gold Medal...but we will cross that bridge...lets just make it to Sunday first. What do you guys think about our chances for making it to Sunday????

Finland is very good, but nothing that I have seen in this tournament tells me we can't beat them Friday.

Wish it didn't come down to U.S. vs Finland in the semis. Should have been the gold medal match. I'd pull for the U.S. in any case except men's olympic hockey. Go Finland!

The night cap here is turning out to be the best game of the day. I want Slovakia to win but I don't think they have much of a realistic chance against Canada.

^To be completely fair, he said that he was disappointed with their Eurotrash game, not that THEY were Eurotrash. Semantics, I know, but you still won't find me shedding a tear for that asshole. i didn't really get the eurotrash comment in the first place. the russians just played a bad game, i don't think it had much to do with euro-style. i guess he was referring more to semin's hit on boyle, which i didn't think was really bad anyway, as boyle had just released the puck. i was impressed that semin hit someone.

what annoyed me more were his comments about how boyle's retaliation was a good thing. i'm no fan of "drum solo" semin and think he's a big nancy, but at least boyle could see him coming, and boyle did not get hurt. so then he chases semin down and slewfoots him, and that's fair and justified?
