I haven't said it before, but I think this needs to be Sid's last year. This game and the Miami game prove it. When your team loses huge leads twice in a row, that's inexcusable. Leslie has consistently made poor decisions, playing from a place of impulse and not using his head. A coach should be able to work on that. I will give him one benefit in that we actually had movement off the ball in the first half, and in almost every other game this year we have stood around and played some weird NBA style isolation shit.

I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but the mistakes are mounting up. When you are down by ten with two minutes left, you don't let them run 30 seconds of clock. You have to foul and slow it down. There is too much talent that isn't being used properly, and while I like him a lot, he's just not getting the job done. At the end of the day, it's about results.

I really wanted for Sid to do well, I was going to hold my comments till the end of the season but screw this garbage. It is painfully obvious he is and will never be the guy and the quicker we know this dark era is over the better. It hurts to boot an alum that gets "it" but he just does not have the right stuff to lead a group of players. I hope Debbie Yow is looking hard and has a good game plan to right this ship that has been off course for decades, because this hire will define her time here.

I may be wrong, but did Lowe even call a timeout when Clemson went on their run in the second half? We called one when Clemson went up by 11 or something...but the game was over then. I question the substitution patterns, not fouling at the end. The players looked like they had given up, apparently the coaches did too.

I usually don't criticize the players...but damn, Leslie looked awful. He took some terrible shots and he stayed in far too long. If Leslie is still sick (wasn't he sick in the Miami game?) then maybe he shouldn't be playing...he certainly was not helping anything.

I was impressed with Javi though...that's about the only positive I could take from this. He wasn't great but he filled his role well.

That game was some typical NC State shit.
