It was made in February or March, when TOB goes up to RW and says "what are you gonna do?" RW says "I dunno". The Rockies say they won't release him until the season over, which could be September.

So TOB looks at it and sees that he has a real good QB that he doesn't know when or if he will return and he has a decent prospect that he can work with over the summer. If TOB goes with the former, the latter will probably leave. If RW doesn't come back, then TOB is stuck with Brosius. And TOB has to make a decision NOW. Not in June. He has to make a decision NOW. So tell me, which one is the "bird in the hand" right now? Right, Mike Fucking Glennon. So, TOB goes to Glennon and tells him he is the future, cause RW won't let him know what he's gonna do. And some of you fucktards actually think TOB did the wrong thing there? REALLY?

Now, if RW told TOB in February he was coming back, then we can have a different discussion, but that didn't happen. In April RW tells TOB he wanted to come back, not when TOB needed to know, which was earlier. So TOB went with what he had, instead of bowing down to an indecisive kid.

So then, when RW finally makes up his mind (read: sucks it up in AA ball), he comes crying back to TOB. And at this point, you fucktards want TOB to tell Glennon to fuck off? Is that what you idiots really want? What is TOB supposed to say? "Hey, I know I told you we were gonna move forward with you, but this guy came back, so, yeah..." The E Man, that's REALLY what you would have him do as a coach? Because the moment he does that, guess what happens: his word means jack shit to the rest of the team. He becomes Butch Fucking Davis of the Cleveland Browns, where NO ONE will trust a word he says. Yes, that's gonna work out fan-fucking-tasticly.

And this shit with Wisconsin being happy to take him late is completely retarded. Wilson didn't go up to Wisconsin and say "hey, I'd like to start practicing in 2 or 3 months or whenever". They signed him, he started practicing. This is completely different than the situation RW put TOB in, of not even knowing if he'd be coming back, much less being signed and not practicing.

The fact is, TOB had a difficult decision to make, one that put him in a real tough spot, but he made the right fucking choice. He chose the kid that was committed to the program and who was actually practicing and that he knew would be there. He didn't chose the kid that he didn't even know would return. It's a no-fucking-brainer. And then RW comes back and stirs the pot and you idiots look at it THEN as opposed to when the decision actually had to be made
