There was quite a bit of booing in the student section, especially as the first half drew to a close. I never booed our team, especially our seniors.Definitely glad I could make it to the game, it stayed pretty full and got damn raucous toward the end.

That shit just doesn't happen to NC State. I was pretty much speechless after the game, there were no words for the ridiculousness of this game. Pretty much a microcosm of our season.

Back from the game and I have nothing to add to this thread, except "What the fuck?!"

I cannot wrap my mind around what happened. We scored 42 unanswered in a span of probably 15-20 minutes. And it was still a 1 possession game with less than a minute left. That shows you how awful we were in the 1st half.

So, yeah, I was in the E.R. getting some back pain meds. When we got there, it was 14-0 from two turnovers. A little frustrated. As I was laying on the table, I had ESPN Game Tracker up and saw it getting worse. I finally had my meds in hand and walked out with the score 41-14.

Didn't look at it again.

About an hour or so later, I got a ACC App notification that read:

MD: 41
NCSt: 56

And I literally thought, "What? 56 yards the game?"

I clicked on the pop-up and my jaw dropped. I told my wife the score (not who had what), and she said, "Wow. We scored 41 points?"

Then I looked at the Game Tracker to confirm and show the wife.

More jaw droppage.

The stadium felt empty for quite sometime after Maryland made it 41-14, but after a couple of touchdowns, the stadium seemed full again . Credit to all of us who decided to stay back. The student section rocks. Just need to give them something to cheer about!
