LOVE IT
Quote :
"
Lowe: You mean, the Suns getting a shooting power forward whose twin brother is on the team already, as a shooting power forward?

Simmons: Exactly! I think the Suns have officially hit rock bottom — they couldn't acquire a marquee player to get their fans excited this week, even though they were trying to overpay for everyone from Josh Smith to Iman Shumpert, so they went with Plan B. What was Plan B? TWINS! Who's up for seeing some twins! Anyone? These guys look exactly alike! And we're gonna play them at the same time! COME SEE THE TWINS!!!!!!!"

No kobe has been solid this year. My assertion that nash taking him off the ball would make him better was correct. It was the last two seasons he played poorly.

I still think they can make the playoffs. I hope they take Utah's spot. I like watching GSW and really like watching Houston. Houston is one of those teams that figures to be better in the postseason when the rotations shorten.

Still kinda incredible how bad the Lakers have been. Almost inexplicable really. Their roster is MUCH better suited for the postseason than the regular season though. I'd love to see them get in just for the excitement/watchability of their series.

Blame for their season goes to:

1) Pau Gasol. Dude was freaking terrible this year. I'll buy that he had some serious tendinitis issues but I dont understand not "fitting in the system". He has a good midrange game and he's played terrific in the high post with Bynum for years. He killed us in the Gold Medal Game so I don't think he's washed up either, unless this last injury is too much to overcome.

2) Dwight Howard injury. He's been a good center, but not even close to an elite and dominant player like he's been in the past. Also, they haven't fed him the ball enough as Phil was mentioning the other day.

3) Nash injury. He's returned to form finally and the Lakers could be dangerous if they get healthy but they really dug a big hole with him out.

Other than that Kobe, Metta, Clark, and even Jamison and Duhon have all been solid. They're actually a much better team with Pau Gasol out of the lineup for the rest of the regular season. They're 27-29 right now with 26 games to play. I could see them getting hot and ending up with 43-46 wins.

Golden State has been struggling and has a really tough schedule ahead but a lot of it is at home where they've been tough, and they got a huge win tonight vs the red hot Spurs. Houston is pretty unlikely to fold as they're a good team that's hitting their stride.

Gotta hope for the Jazz to tank. They're a pretty decent team too I can't see them going below .500 the rest of the way out without some sort of injury. They are one team that has ZERO chance of pulling a playoff upset though. One of those teams with a bunch of average and above average guys which gets you through the regular season but killed in the postseason.

By the way george karl is having one of the most spectacularly terrible coaching seasons of all time. I think a guy off the street could have coached that Nuggets team to 50 wins. Every night he actively sabotages them by not playing a center for the 4th quarter, playing 2 point guards, and benching their best player Faried for long stretches for shitty guys like Wilson Chandler and Corey Brewer. The Nuggets have one of the better center combos in the league with McGee and Koufos and the fucking guys can't get off the bench at the end of every close game because he likes to run Ty Lawson and Andre Miller TOGETHER. It's beyond idiotic.

hahahahhaa oh my god okc is going to sign Derek Fisher.

After he absolutely murdered them in the Finals last year he was even worse in 9 games played in Dallas this season.

They say its for his locker room presence but Scott brooks is SUCH a bad coach I cant imagine giving him a chance to actually play fisher again in the playoffs

^^ too short.

I think nba should put top 4 of east and west in the same pool and let them fight in the playoffs every yr. Now only no. 1 of east and west can meet each other after the regular season. So eastern teams all have less wins than western teams. That's not good.

If i want to watch lal vs celtics, i can only see them twice a yr, b/c they are not good enough to get to the finals. But they r classic rivalry. And one team only visit the home court of the other once a yr.

Also I can only see all the western stars once a yr in NC. Other than that, I need to fly to the west to their home courts.

i dont really get this whole thing.

chris andersen has to be the most underrated nba player in the past decade though. Guy is just a monster every year. Only george karl could bench a dominant big man through the prime of his career

this heat roster is just a joke. they used to actually have a weak roster when lebron first came but now they have endless supply of good role players.

Lakers a half game out of the playoffs

I like all the experts who wrote them off with 4 months to go in the season

like the baseball experts who say a team thats 8 games back has no chance at the postseason with 60 games to go

For the most part yes im done watching a lot of boston sports now that im out of raleigh and realize its never gonna happen. We cant even have one good season.

My job is busy during the day and there's so many girls here I just dont have a lot of time to waste here anymore

But every time I look at this site there's a million people saying where is amac. Draws me back haha

I will still probably watch ncaa and nfl though because they are great.
