Have State play Bama, Florida, UGA, South Carolina, etc and the record would have been just as bad, if not worse. But good thing we don't have to play "what if" since the played each other head to head, so we already know the outcome.

Yes? Why wouldn't it? You people really need to learn to look at the big picture. Bama was down almost a decade under Shula, DuBose and Franchione and they are fine, same for LSU under Hallman and DiNardo and they are fine. If you think an SEC school outside of MAYBE Kentucky and Vandy are hurting for money then you are ignorant my friend. Hell, the TV package alone takes care of that almost. Like I said, just how the finances fell, happens all the time
