Doesn't really suck for him or Seattle.

Gives Seattle more room salary wise next year...now they can sign a guy or get a cheap draft pick on the team instead of having to pay him since RW is going to be looking a new contract.

It makes perfect sense from the front office side of it...you are paying a guy who is fragile and hardly ever plays...why not get rid of him and then use that money to pay RW.

They still have plenty of other good WRs on that team.

now on the Jets he can be THE guy...Decker is their only real option at WR to throw to a lot..so it should make the Jets better at that position and gives the running game more ability too.

Pretty solid trade for both sides.

Everyone on NFL Radio is basically saying Harvin was a CJ Leslie cancer to the lockerroom and team chemistry and still had anger issues and that it didn't really have anything to do with cap space (since Seattle still owes him plenty of money)
