I accidentally read an article that applauded Williams for developing "sub-headliner," Brice Johnson, as a player. Ranked 34th as a recruit, Johnson was apparently never going to be good at basketball without Roy. And Williams' approach of having only 6 McDonald's All-Americans on this squad is supposedly an inspired recruiting move.

I mean...UNC has a great shot at winning the national title on Monday...but ya'll acting like they're not playing a team that just blew the fuck out the best player in the nation and his squad who was (without looking) maybe ranked #1 longer than any team this year.

Their guards better ball out though, because UNC obviously has the advantage inside.

Yep. UNC makes Villanova look like the OK team they beat, and we have to hear about it for the rest of time, then no punishment from the NCAA.

Side story: The one UNC fan I know who went to Houston was out running yesterday morning and latched onto a big group of people who were running the Final Four Four-Miler. He wasn't registered and only ran the last quarter-mile, but crossed the finish line and accepted a medal. Sounds like a true Tar Heel.

Nova is going to win tonight. They have the best D UNC has faced since UVA. Shooting 50% from 3 and 60% overall for the tourney.

UNC's going to rely on Brice and Hicks to stay out of foul trouble. You think that will happen? Hicks fouls once every 4 minutes in the tournament.

I'm shocked ya'll are acting like this is '09 all over again. I know we beat Nova last year, but this team is leaps and bounds better then last year's squad.

Uhhh yes? I suspect the Nova bigs to have 3 fouls in the first 10 minutes though. If they dont shoot close to like they did Saturday night its unlikely that they win.

Ultimately I think it's easier for smaller players to guard bigger players then vice versa, especially how these games have been reffed. Seems to me far more fouls are called on drives then post-ups.

We'll see in a couple hours. Nova by 5-10.
