Teams in running for the final 4 should meet the following requirements to be eligible:
#1 Undefeated or 1-loss (if 1-loss, the team is disqualified if the loss is to a team with 2+ losses on the season)
#2 From the teams meeting requirement #1, the final 4 will be the team with the 'best wins'

Undefeated Teams (no order):
LSU, Clemson, Michigan St, Ohio State, Iowa, Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma St, Memphis, Houston

1-Loss Teams (no order):
Temple (loss to ND), Navy (loss to ND), Notre Dame (loss to Clem), App State (loss to Clem), Florida (loss to LSU)

Stay Calm - Watch teams eliminate each other over the next 4-5 weeks.

Fuck Fedora. UNC hasn't played anyone all season so we don't know how good they are. Ill give Fedora credit for his offense being explosive this year and mixing in trick plays with Switzer and what not. But he is the same coach that played Trubiskey in important situations over Marquis and only recently realized that Hood is a monster.

To keep it in perspective their schedule played out perfectly for them. Their 4 non-conf teams were all shit (though they lost to SC) and 3 of their 5 conf teams just so happened to be some of the worst in the entire ACC. And to be honest, Duke and Pitt just look OK.

Yeah. I mean besides simply being in the Coastal they totally lucked out in the sense that GT completely collapsed this year, VT is way down, Miami is way down, and so on. In my opinion their first real test of the season is gonna be against State. Then they get their shit pushed in by Clemson.

it's possible, but hardly a guarantee. Barring anything really crazy, let's assume Bama wins the SEC. They're in. Ohio St or Iowa wins out and wins the BIG 10. One of those teams is in. LSU wins out. They, with 1 loss and no conference title, are still probably in. Then you've got Baylor and TCU still alive. If one is undefeated, they are definitely in. Even with 1 loss, teams like Baylor, TCU, OU, Stanford, ND, or Ohio St (if Iowa were to win the conference) would still have better resumes than UNC and are much better positioned in the rankings as of today.

In short, a 1 loss UNC wouldn't have nearly as good of a resume as most other 1 loss teams. One thing in their favor could be that their 1 loss was so early in the season. But even then, I don't see it happening.

^yeah...i think it'd be interesting if iowa won out and beat Ohio St in the Big 10 title game...handing OSU their only loss of the season. iowa would of course be a lock to be in at that point, but it'd be interesting to see how OSU gets treated with 1 loss to a presumed "weak" undefeated team. i think OSU would still get in, especially considering they are reigning champs the committee might give them the benefit of the doubt. it's kinda fun to speculate on all this shit that is probably never gonna happen.

i guess i expect the top 4 tomorrow to be:

1 clemson
2 ohio st
3 alabama
4 lsu

I don't necessarily disagree with LSU dropping to 9 after the loss, but I am surprised to see it. Figured losing to Alabama, who the committee obviously really liked, wouldn't drop them that many spots. And also surprised to see Iowa jump all the way to 5, although I guess that had more to do with teams ahead of them losing more than anything else.
