best I can tell, Morrison's career long is 5 2/3. can't imagine he would be able to get close to that since he's thrown the last two days, but then again, I never thought Gilbert would get close to the 8 he threw today.

the last out of last inning ... slow grounder hit up the middle to second... instead of just stepping on second for the force out he did a little skip and tossed the ball up in the air to the short stop... nothing crazy, but a little bit of sass that given the tension in this game could be seen as one-upmanship

he was maybe four foot from second when he fielded the ball
